Led Grow Project Discussion

Hello friends gardeners!

Year has passed since I started growing and I would like to upgrade my grow room and move to Leds.
I am growing in soil, so let me show you the setup that Im about to purchase, and please give your opinion, I hope this thread will help many new to leds and growing.

Basically I will use 3 grow tents in my bedroom. 2 of them will be 3,5ft x 3,5ft x 7ft (1m2) and one will be 4 x 4 x 7 (1.2m2).

All 3 tents will be connected via 6 inch (150mm) ducting.
My idea here is that I will use only one exhaust fan + 1 Carbon Filter (which is Prima Klima Twin Speed 420/800m3h) to control the air flow and odour for all tents. This will keep the setup less expensive, electricity and noise would be less too.

Please look at the picture that I draw so you can have visual idea of my setup.
Fresh Air will come from the intake of flowering tent #1, then to flowering tent #2 where the carbon will be, then go trough the filter and move again to veg tent, where it will be exhausted from my Prima Klima fan, sitting in the veg tent.
Behind the idea of using only 1 fan and 1 filter, there is another idea of heating all 3 tents together in the winter. Then I would use 400w HPS in flower tent #1, and 2 led lights one in flower tent #2 and one in the veg tent.
The hps would be good heat support to the 2 mini oil filled rads (500w each) which will be in my 2 flower tents. I feel like by the time air gets into veg tent, it will be hot enough with the hps and 2 rads, so I wont need radiator for my veg tent.
What you guys think? Would this work?

Lightning:
Veg tent: 200x3W Veg Light
Flower tent 1 (1m2) 400W HPS
Flower tent 2 (1.2m2) 192x3w flower spec Led

My plan is to harvest one flowering tent each month. I will have 6 plants in 3 gal pots in each flowering tent.
In veg tent I would have 6 plants in 3gal, 6 plants in 1 gal and heated propagator all the time.

Let me ask some questions.
1. Is it possible to get away with 100x3w for veg? The footprint is smaller then the size of the tent, but I heard that veg lights dont need to be that strong, also clones will be in the corner of the tent where the light is weakest,as clones dont need much light.

2.Do you think 11L Pots are enough for clones vegged for 4-6 weeks after rooting?

3. 3W or 5W led grow light is better? Does it worth the $$ to go with 5w?

More questions to come after I get some attention. Thank you friends :)) and sorry for my english its not my native language.

Hellooo Wolfx!

1. Generally 100 x 3W for Veg, as long as we don't know Brand, data specifications, lm/W, wavelenght(s), etc etc.... should be enough, considering that the best for LEDs is to be "spread on the ceiling", not all close together (see: panel vs. bulb)

2. That's ok, but consider how much 6 plants can blow up in flowering period!

3. Actually I found that the most powerful emitters are the 3W in general, more lm/W than the 5W
And with the same wattage you have more light points = more light coverage: you should consider it when projecting your lamps!
But again, if LED brand is unknown, all these of mine are just.........words!

Good luck anyway, and let us know!

Brand is Top Led Light, I didnt want to mention the brand because I dont want to break any forum rules.
I am talking about reflector led 192x3w from TopLED Light and their 200x3w old model with veg spectrum.

I was wondering if their 100x3w classic model would be enough to veg 1m2 tent, or I should go with 200x3w, mostly electricity is my concern because veg lights are always running more than 18h per day and generally they consume the most, and also I know that plants in veg light dont need so much light.
I'm leaning towards the bigger 200x3w light because 100x3w is kinda risky, it might not be enough when clones reach 3 weeks after rooting. I'm just speculating and trying to imagine how it would work most efficiently, a fully dialed 3-chain grow room,

Sorry, I imagined you were talking about DIY lamps.
Anyway it doesn't matter... You know the brand, so based on the tips given you can make your considerations...

I know that plants in veg light dont need so much light.

That's it!

100x3w might not be enough when clones reach 3 weeks after rooting.

Clones need even less light than moms: less light, more roots development.
But it depends on how tall you want your plants before putting them in Flo...!
You might don't need to make them too big before the Flo!

I apologize for my english.......
