LED and HPS

Is there any adverse effects when using Led light for veg, then switching over to Hps when flowering?

Sorry I cant answer your question but I'd use Cfl's for veg, its way cheaper to buy atleast

Shouldn't be any problem with that. No different than going from fluorescent to sun, or sun to fluorescent (clones), fluorescent to HPS, halide to HPS, etc..

Most leds do great for veg cycle
I've used them and then used hps and MH to flower with great results

yep good LED's rock for veg (and do great for flower too). whilst cfl are adequate for veg, LED's are much much better
