Leaning seedling...

Its a Reserva Privada Sour Kush seedling, about 10 days old. The other in the back is a 9 day freebie Pyramid Osiris(WWxAK47). This is my first grow. The seeds were put in 4" square pots after germination with FFOF. All I've been giving them is PHd water.

I'm running them 24/0 under 4-2' HO T5's (8k lumens) Lights are about 5"-6" above them. At night temps can drop to 67 degrees, but during the day usually at 73-75. I have a heating mat under them but haven't been using it. I did some researching and seen the upper 60's shouldn't harm them.

Any ideas? I checked on them this morning and seen she had bent over night. I don't see why she would be bending towards the lights when they are are directly above her. The Osiris seedling hasn't bended.

It happens man, absolutely non relative to what that plant is gonna be when its all said and done. I have had some epic leaners and runts in my day end up being the swan of the harvest. Your lights are close enough, that's all you can do. Don't over water and you'll likely have stank in a couple months.

Thanks for the input guys. I was kind of thinking maybe the lights are too close to the SK?.. Like maybe she's leaning away from the lights. But it's like you said, she's coming along fine it seems. Aside from the LST I didn't do, LoL.

Not a huge deal unless its ready to fall over. Make sure you have air blowing around the plant but NOT right on it. At that stage if its about to tip I just put some dry peat on the side its leaning towards.

Yeah, just looks to be a case of big leaves, small stem, it'll all even out.

I had a similar issue. I bent a pipe cleaner in half, stuck it in the dirt (folded end down), and made a little Y out of the two ends for the seedling to rest on, it was fine in 4-5 days and no longer needed the support. Ive done the same thing but made a loop for the seedling to sit in until it was good.

It's doing the Shoulder lean!

It happens, sometimes little seedlings will fall over when you water them.
I just stand them back up, pack a little more soil around the base, and they're fine.

Stakes will work or you can transplant lower (note this will cause a growth stall for a week or two as it grows new roots towards the surface.)

Consider beating up on them a little bit. Draw your hand over the top of the leaves. Make a V of your fingers and wiggle the stem back and forth. These simulate breezes and passing animals the plants experience in the wild, causing microscopic tears in the tissues of the stalk. As the plant repairs them, the stalk becomes stronger and thicker.
