Leafs yellowing, burnt tips, rust spots then dead. WTF!!

I have been having a leaf issue for a few months now. Mostly lower fan leaves get burnt tips, start to curl up, yellow quickly, get rust spots and die. I also am seeing very weak lower branches, slow growth, smaller leaves and low yield. Happens in veg and really hits hard when put in flower. I grow in coco/perlite in 3 gallon and then 10 gallon smart pots in veg. I then go to epp n flow 8x4 flood tables and feed 1-2x a day. I use full line cutting edge. My tap water is 70ppm so I don't filter. I try to keep my water at 5.8ph. In veg the pots sit in saucers and the pots sometimes sit in run off.

I have been growing for 10 years and never had this problem. If i take clones from a sick plant they don't make it. I have some gnats but don't think they are an issue. I checked my runoff ppm the other day and it was 1500 in veg. I have never had nute burn before but am starting to think this is the issue. I did a full flush the other day. Any advice from what you see in the pics? Appreciate the help

imo 15000 ppm is high for an input... very very high for runoff. what what the PH of your runoff?

looks like cal/mag... maybe a little phosphorus deficient too.
what's your ph at? maybe the cause.

my nutes are cutting edge so they auto ph at around 4.3 when I add them to the rez. I don't up it to since it says not to and it will rise on its own. The ph of the run off is around 5.2. I know it looks like a defincency but I haven't changed anything and have used the same nutes and setup for 10 years with no issue. Do you think lock out because of over fert? I fluched everythind and still having some issues. I took a bunch of plants outside to my green house and really flushed them and transplanted them into larger pots and in a few days they got back to normal so I'm thinking since this is happening to only the plants i have in 2-4 gall pots and it gets better when I transpalnt into 10 gallon pots both inside and outside that it has to be build up and in smaller pots build up can effect the plants much faster correct?

if the bigger pots and a good flush worked then it could be lock out too.

I would try to bring your PH up a little. try and keep it around 5.8 to 6.0 for a while.
nutrients are more available to the plant at that range for hydro.

good luck!

High ppm can be the result of what standard the meter is calibrated to.

If you get your pH right, eg. around 5.8 - 6.0 as mystic said, then the plants wont need to struggle with nutrient availability. If your system has been previously working, then check your pH meter calibration. They do drift, and water pH can be seasonal too.
