I have some clones i took that seem to be doing ok but they have some yellow in the leaves and im not sure what to do if anything? This is my first time growing in a hydro set up,ph is around 5.9-6.1-nutes are pbp 7ml per gal.
get roots longer they need to be eight inches + out of cloner before u put any nutes on them a meter would be nice as well u shuld have nice 8 inch fish bone roots before u put any pbp on them u can use liquid karma to root with or a rooting hormone like olivias
they are
if u get a meter buy an ec meter not a ppm meter it will put u on a even playing feild ppm meters have 4 different convertions and everybody on here has a different convertion meter so it can be misleading if someone tells u how much ppm if they dont have the same meter as u do
u probobly good they are yellow from cloning if they are coming on out u will be happy with the way they will grow i have some aero going right now i have them at 600 ppm right now was at 700 but had to reduce a little for the smaller plants
the water is from the tap 35 ppm and a ph of 7.5 or so,after i add nutes (pbp)it drops down to about 6.6. I thought it might be a mag def. just was'nt sure. I will go ahead and change out nutes and add some epsom and see what happens. Thanks guys
Epsom salts will work, but ya gotta make sure to mix it in some very warm water to make sure it completely disolves...then add that mix to the res after it cools. If you can find it, get some Cal-Mag and add it at about 25-33% of the PBP (ie 10ml PBP gets about 3ml of CM). You can add or subtract from there depending on the specific strains likings. Some love it at %50 of the PBP, but most will start showing slight abnormalities at that rate.
