Leafs dieing after transplant?

G

Guest

Just transplanted 2 week old seedlings from potting soil to fox farm ocean forest.

A few days after the transplant I started seeing these weird black spots on the leaves, there was no yellowing, just large black spots on the leaves.

It has now spread from the first set of leaves to almost every leaf on the plant.

Only 1 of 3 seedlings are bad, both a 2nd one is starting to show signs.

On the seedling that is worst, it is large black spots on green leaves, the leaves dry out and become crumbly once the whole leaf is black, and it started to twist/curl.

They have only been fed a little liquid karma here and there, and 1 feeding of subculture.

Does this sound like a deficiency? overfed? disease? fungus?

Thanks in advance

MIxture is to strong for them..... better get them into some different soil or dilute your soil with a 50/50 mix with FFOF and another brand that does not have nutrients in them.

2 week old seedlings are just starting to get root system establised and soon after cotyledons fall off......
Not to mention when you put them into the soil you should not have given them anything ,because the soil is rich in npk and micro's for the first 20-25 days..... anything used adds up and burns them more.

You either A put them into other soil
or B flush with lots of water; but that would be a waste... just cheaper and easier to get them out of that soil and into something else.

How can I get them out of the soil? Theyve been in it for almost a week

I was thinking i either overfed or overwatered :( but they look worse everyday

You are going to have to cut around the area and pick up the rootball with your hand and then put it into a pot and flush the soil out a little bit and then transplant it into a different kind of soil.. you want to flush some of the nutrients out of where the plant has it's root ball because it's to strong for them.

BE careful when removing the plant from the soil; you got any pictures?
How big are these plants?

Growing is only hard if you do not do a little research on the matter... you gotta have some insight to growing you just can't jump in it and think you are going to drive off. It's like getting ready to drive a car you just don't get into a car and drive; you gotta research and read.
