hey guys, im a real rookie in indoor nuts. im trying to make a sensi star and a dc bonzai mom in a mix of cocopeat and normal soil. ph is around normal i think. i suspect M need but would be happy to know what you you think. i have been giving them a lil organic canna grow nut and they are under a 36w flouro, pretty far from the bulb. steems are pretty purple\black on one of them, dont know if its the sort or part of the prob.

With the stems that color im going to say you are phosphorus deficient but also the plants just look down right hungry!
I would definitly give double strength nutes next time you feed (not double strength as in what the bottle reccomends but double what you have normally been giving them)

If it is coco this will be hard to correct it looks like when I tried coco.Better luck than I had. I know you have a P shortage but I don't know why.Never give a plant double strength nutes unless you can afford to lose it or you know for a fact that the double strength neuts will help. This is all over the plant it has been going on for a while or it is a mobile neut problem. Coco PH and soil PH are not the same someone may know the PH for a mix like this.

I screwed up a good grow with that mistake. I put them in soil they recovered quick. I have been putting like 10 to 15% with no problems.Next grow will be 100%coco.

36 w ......

Hygge min ven :)

Yup, mag def. Now is it locked or are you not giving enough? Some of those twisty leaves may suggest ph issues....

You need to know your ph and get it right. Thinking is not good enough. you must have an accurate digimeter. If your ph is out and you have nute lock, then adding anything will not solve the problem. You will probably cause fert burn.

If your ph is good 6.8, add CalMag. Some strains are very hungry for calmag.

Good luck.

Lev, I am seeing a little tip burn on some leaves, so careful with upping the dose. Check ph and confirm it is good before adding anything!
