Leaf yellowing!!! HELP!!

Leaf tips have begun to yellow on almost all of my gals this past week and a half.

Outdoor smartpots fully amended soil in 45 gallon smart pot. All organic nutrients.

The issue looks like (nutrient burn)

Any info would be appreciated. Pics below

The pic with the normal green leaves is the plant which looks unaffected.
These gals looked superb for about 1 month then.
Fed hard alkaline ph tap water about 1/2-2/3 gallon each watering.
Soil is ammended with guano, bio alive, peat miss , earth worm castings, blood and bone meal, crushed oyster shells and perlite.

Thanks guys

Haven't added any nutes lately
they have been in pots for about 1 month. Soil was well ammended.
So at this point no clue what I should do.

It's not over watering under watering...
Possible my deficiency or nitrogen toxicity or nitrogen deficiency trust me though, I added plenty of bat guano. 0-7-0... Zzz

I can top dress and water in nutes. What do u recommend? Ty for the help

save this to your pc... it's invaluable ;)

after that go read Joe sick plants thread in the infirmary, it's very educational ... I think it looks like over feeding myself, but I'm no soil expert...

That's not nute burn. Have you added any nutes lately? Is that leaf in pic 3 pure yellow with no burning?

i believe it is yellow ,without the brown splotchy burning. possibly a deficiency instead of nute lockout or burn. but which one its too small to tell from the canna grow bible at this stage. all i know is the tips start yellowing first. very slightly

just checked out Joes guide.
so. u are indeed correct it looks like nute burn. if its nitrogen deficiency or a magnesium deficiency i can add Epsom and bat guano ....or some pk if its a phosphorus or potassium deficiency. if plants recover after watering in Epsom and guano, i will rule out potassium and phosphorus deficiency and nute burn. i really think its nute burn though.

Nute burn is brown tips, on the young leaves as well.
As you say you feed hard alkaline water I would check the pH and add acid to it? The buffering capacity of your organic soil hits its breaking point after a while...
People always told me "you don't need to pH in organic soil" but if you're way off, something's got to give. I still don't adjust pH though, but instead of using that pH 8,6 tap water I now use rain water 4/5 of the time and add some lime or use tap water the 5th time.

It looks like a magnesium deficiency or lockout to me. It's not 100% textbook (no severely folded leaves or interveinal chlorosis), but the v-shaped yellowing without burning margins points to mag. The pure yellow leaves with no burning point to mag or nitrogen. I noticed you really have no good source of mag in your soil, so maybe the Epsom salt is all you need.

If it is a lockout, as someone who also has hard, alkaline tap water, I can vouch for what sprinkl says 100%. It won't hurt you to know your pH no matter what the issue is.

BTW, you don't need oyster shell. It's a source of calcium, which you already have plenty of if your tap water is hard. If you need to balance out the peat, dolomite lime is good and will add magnesium.

ninja great adivce. i just gave them all about 1-2 tablespoons of watering in epsom and then i will do the same in about 3-4 weeks. each 4 weeks. if they recover.

i was going to test my ph but never went to get a test wand. ill go buy one today. and test it. a buddy uses the same water next door for his plants.... we run off city water without fluoride ions.
ill throw up some pics Ina couple days to see if the Epsom helps. and get the ph tester pics up. really do appreciate it

thanks ninja

there is dolomite lime in the soil already. and ill get a ph tester for the tap. and post pics in couple days and tonight with the ph . im hoping its only mg defeciency which makes sense cause i gave them all mg early on about a month ago and now they seem to have used it all up.

Some Epsom salts,,piss in your pots,,and. Check your ph....am the same as above I never check ph when I was in soil and coco...but for sure if your feeding water that is ph8 the is no way you soil will buff that down to a safe zone..

Keep it green
