Hi there man,

soil / hydro?

So where is your plant getting yellow?

Top: yellow leafs at the top means a deficiency of micronutrients

Bottom: Nitrogen def.

All over: Over watering

No matter what, get your self a good 15-15-15 fertilizer and give your plants a small dose.

Make sure your plants are not sitting in a wet soil. It should be moist.
Increase Heat, ventilation and drainage and your plants will be fine.

Good Luck

If you do not get them out of that big of a pot and get them out of that kind of soil you will have way more problems than what you are having now. You will NOT be able to water that plant properly in that size of a pot.

WHat brand of soil is that? Barky soil causes bad root growth and stunting.

Do not know if it's the bad brand of soil that is causing it or overwatering; since nitrogen is poorly absorbed in soggy soils.... I would fix the issues first before feeding. The plant is still semi small but it's just now getting a root system. The sooner the better you get that plant out of it's pot and into a proper size one, not to mention a better brand of soil.

Please click my link for a proper watering technique...regardless of pot size.
But yes, you'd be much better off if you moved the lil seedling to a smaller container and then potted it up gradually as it grows larger.

I'm curious why it's planted so close to the edge of the planter ?

If you're using some kind of packaged potting soil, always ammend the soil with additional perlite (@ 30% perlite) for proper drainage. This is key to good drainage, adequate available air in the medium and a great root system.
Big healthy roots = bigger buds.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm waiting for my freind to take me to wally world to get some FFOF and some Perlite. What else should I get while I'm there?

FFOF you can't get at wally world.... you can get it from hydro shops.
Wally world carries mg time released, mg organic, scotts, schultz, etc.....

stay away from mg moisture control. If you pick mg time released... you have to buy another brand of soil that does not have ferts in it and dilute it with mg....... you still have a very young plant..... does not need strong nutrients. Only what is in the soil.....

to make it easier on you... I would get some seed starter mixture from mg and then in 2 weeks transplant it into a soil with some ferts in it... but not strong ones.

you can get seed starter mixture and then order FFOF if you have access to hydro shops then the plant will be big enough to be put in FFOF by then.

you might need to go to a regular nursery supply or grow store instead.
I didnt know they had ffof at wallys ?
If you get the ffof, you might get a bag of sunshine mix too, to cut the ffof in half with before you add the perlite. A small bag of garden lime (dolomite) if they have any. Soil pH test kit. Small 'pint size' plastic planters, or some cheap plastic beer cups, not the clear ones. Avoid the pre-ferted potting soil...too hot. And some decent nutes w/micros.
