Leaf Curl

I have 4 lowryder 2 plants at day 14 under an 150w cfl envirogrow light as shown in the pic. some of the leaves have started to curl slightly, even though its slight, its worrying me. I have only given them a small amount of Miracle Grow nutes about a week ago one time and its about 27c in the room. Any ideas what is wrong?

Do you let your medium dry out between waterings or is it always wet?
I have not let it go 100% dry but have not over watered I dont think. Put about enough to get slight run off every 3/4 days i think. the pot has definitely felt light before a watering.

Miracle Grow nutes......not good
first week feeeding......not good

They do look healthy though
what is bad about miracle grow? i guess i should have gone somewhere specialist for advice rather than the local garden center...
yes the firs week feed was a mistake. gonna hold off a week or two before next feed. I was keen to fert quickly as i only used plain soil with no perlite or john ins etc, thought it might not be rich enough.

thanks for the help!

Don't drive yourself nuts over curling/twisting leaves on LR#2s if no other symptoms are present. I've seen their leaves do this even in the face of a perfect watering schedule, PH'd soil, PH'd water and proper nute levels - and yield/quality didn't seem to be affected. It's just something about the strain.

Having said that, if you started with decent soil, there should be no need for nutes during the majority of the plant's short life. Maybe it could use some mid to late flowering, but certainly not yet.

I think they look OK too. On the Miracle grow...I used it for years. It has a bad rep, but since you have it, use it for vegging...just never use it in full dosage from the package, Up to about a flat tsp in a gal of water.

Then once you get into 12/12 lighting to trigger flowering, you'll want a bloom nutrient. Something alone the lines of a 10-30-20 is common with soil growers. Hope everything goes well for you...

He is growing LR2s, an auto strain that does not need a change in light schedule to trigger flowering. As a matter of fact, he'd probably rob himself of some yield by switching to 12/12 instead of letting the plant go entirely 18/6 or 20/4.

Batboy,
Thanks...overlooked that. But still, once the plant flowers...he'll want to switch to bloom nutes. Don't know much about autoflowering strains.

thanks people! will hold off with the nutes for a while i think. Have got them under 18/6 lighting (was on 24 until day 15) no signs of sex yet but are starting to smell nice :)
