hi just a quick one i have an Arjans haze 3 mum in my standard organic veg soil which is pretty standard mix with guano, wormcastings, dolomite lime, rock phosphate etc. All my plants go in it and never had a problem, but i noticed leaf curl on the haze and put it down to high temps (heatwave in UK)- so i put it in my greenhouse to settle down but its has happened again - this time with the tips of the leaves turning up and i wonder if my soil mix might be a little rich for it.

any thoughts would be welcome - should i dilute my standard mix with some seed/cutting mix or perlite for hazes and sativas?

have some 16 week+ black forrest i need to repot so thought id ask before i did that. :joint:

many thanks

right im starting to wonder if this might be an overwatering and high pH problem - when i had the plants outside they were on capillary matting that was watered with a seep hose - my water is pH 8+ and usually i correct it down to 6, but because i was away i couldnt do that. also my cab is in the attic and sometimes i cant get up there for 48 hours so i tend to give them a good soaking beforehand to see them through.

does this make any sense?

anyone??

it looks to me like a high ph, and a bit of overwatering?, Hazes are very finicky especially when it comes to PH....

thanks relief and headimonster for confirming what i suspected.

as i said, usually i correct my high pH tap water with citric acid to around 6 but i was away and the plants were auto watered from the tap.

many people say you dont need to check/adjust pH with organic but this problem tells me that i am doing the right thing lowering the pH of my tap water which is over 8.

Thats bad advice VG. My well water comes out a PH of 11.2 and will kill everything I water with it in a matter of weeks. They will start twisting like crazy, stunted growth and eventually die (everything is organic). I have to add crazy amounts of citric acid or filter my water and add molasses as a cal/mag replacement.
