Leaf burns from spray. Please help.

I had a spider mite issue come up so I went to my local hydro shop and they gave me some spray that contained all sorts of "essential oils" and was supposed to be completely organic and safe. I followed the directions, spraying them the day after watering in the morning before the lights came on. I returned home that night to find my crop in ruins. Some of the plants had severe leaf burns, and some of them only had a little.

I haven't had to deal with this before. How much leaf burn can a plant take and still turn out ok? I am planning on going 12/12 in about 2 weeks. Should I prune off all the bad leaves? Thanks in advance.

i'd look into neem oil first off. also man a plant can take some serious burn and recover you still have 2 weeks of veg. unless they are completely fucked i'd leave them

If you are still in veg you should be okay. The new growth in two weeks should negate your setback. I would give them Nutriboost or B-1 and spray the leaves down with just water. In a week or so I'd foliar feed with Green Up or some other urea nitrate solution.Next time try neem oil or bomb the little bastards with Dr. Doom.

Yeah plants should recover, spraying just before lights on can be risky at best.

What were the "essential oils"? I used safer soap once that contained potassium. I sprayed the crap out of the plants only to see the same thing happen that you are discribing.
Get some water and spray the heck out of them when the light just goes off.

It's call "Dr. Earth's 100% organic Fruit and Vegetable insect spray". It contains; Rosemary Oil, Cinnamon oil, Clove Oil, Garlic Extract, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Wintergreen Oil, Sunflower oil, and molasses, and water. Again its what my local hydro store recommended. A few of them look pretty bad to me but its my first time dealing with it so I may be exagerating. Others arent really bad, just spots here and there. I cut off several of the bad fan leaves.

I spray my leaves with RO/DI water every time I water. I sprayed them that night as well to try and clean them off.

steppinRazor has the right idea. If you are looking for the sure thing go with Einstein oil (neem oil). It's pricey and smells like garlic, but it works perfectly. Killed the spider mites every time they ever became a problem.
I've used it heavily before many times and have even drenched the plant completely in it to find no ill-results whatsoever.
That leaf burn (if from the spray) could possibly be due to all of those ingredients in the spray you got. Neem oil alone should do the trick.

i wouldn't worry much about the leaves that are on the plant now if your still vegging. when you make the switch to 12-12 they will put on way more than they got now. (strain dependent) but unless your working with a pure non-stretch indica you'll have plenty of leaves for a healthy crop. the one you have now will be the leaves at the bottom of a big stem.
