Lawrence Lessig: We the People, and the Republic we must reclaim

I love tedtalk on youtube its an amazing channel for ideas and inventions.
Personally i think this clip deserve its own thread because this is simply a great tedtalk video.
I want to share it with you guys and hear what you think about it? Mindboggling for me to say the least.
It takes 18 minutes of your life to watch and listen, or you could multitask, roll one while you are listening and puff.

Not being a dick but if you weren't already aware of that info you are way way behind the curve.
1. I can't believe that'd ted let someone say the word republic on ted tv.
2. Maybe he did it cuz this guy sounds like he is about to cry the whole time.
3. He is correct like .000425% of the country actually runs it tje rest of us are just chattle.
4. Even better like .0000000003÷ of the world actually runs it.
5. Its goint to take a lot more than you couod imagine to wrestle the reins of this country back from the green monster.

Iam not an american, this is a international site and iam sure that there are people who find great intrest in this and it is something everybody should be talking about.
My purpose was to spread and share the video to help raise the awareness. Not to be a dick or anything but just to make it very clear for you if you could not grasp it.

American politics affect the whole world on a very large scale if i may claim so, that is why i want to talk about it, if it is not of a too sensitive topic.

This has been going on for like 50 years now if not more. Anyone with abrain in america is aware. Imagine it like a prison. Say tue prisoners are peiple. And the guards are the senators and the warden is the donars. The guards can't act for the peiple because they work for the warden. A pyramid scheme with diffused accountabillity. Im a big fan of George Carlin and i agree with you, it is a imensly huge problem. I wont put on any tinfoil hat and call it Illuminati or any other conspiracy and i wont say that any conspiracy is bullshit either but this is a deeply inrooted problem in america if not the whole world.
Overwhelming if you will, but there has to be a solution. It has to have a solution if not, i might aswell just give fucking up and be put in a concentrationcamp like in north korea or germany in the 1930s~.
It has to have a solution, the solution is to have everybody know this, to have everybodys attention so that they can learn their kids about this.
So that the next generation will teach next generation and that there one fucking day will have an end to it.
Iam frankly pissed and sad, because i can see this model not just in america but throughout the whole world. If its dictators or politicians it really dont matter in a large scale, we all are getting fucked in the ass. And media is trying to tell us to judge northkorea, feel pity for them because we have it better.
Well guess fucking what, we dont have it much better off we are enslaved in our minds just like you say we are.

The internet is a beautiful and wonderful place where we can connect and interact with eachother and learn things that we dont get to learn in school or media. It is like Charlie Chaplin is saying in his final speech in The Great Dictator about the radio and airplane.

Ofcourse most of us in the western world are not starving to death but there are people doing that also.

There is a longer talk with Lawrence Lessig where he adress things more and in detail, bring up cases of clear corruption and solutions if not ideas etc. For those who are interested in hearing more about what he has to say i'll link in bottom of post. Because i find it that he is speaking what everybody is thinking and is explaining the problem in a way everybody can understand.
