lavender(soma) pheno types

I recently had a friend who had the chance to grow out some of soma's lavender. He had 3 females. Of these 3 he noticed 2 types, 1 indica dom. and 2 sativa dom ones. He of course being a smart friend took cuttings of all three until he got the chance to grow them all the way out and try them. The indica dom one vegged very fast and stayed very short and bushy(we like to call her the freak because of how fast she vegged). The 2 sativa dom ones look excatly alike. whats odd is the sativa dom ones seem to be flowering faster than the indica dom. Now to my point, I am trying to find anyone else that has grown this strain give my some notes of their pheno types and which one to look for and it's characteristics.-thnx in advance-LJ

As far as a phenotype, i would say Soma's Lavender is mainly Indica. I say this due to the fan leaves. The stem structure would lead one to believe it has quite abit of Sativa in it also. I have not grown this strain to finish (yet), so I cant say what the end effect is (Sativa/Indica). This is the cut i have of it.

I hope she turns out as well as everyone says she is:) check this link for better info on Soma's stuff http://www.somaseeds.nl/seeds/lavender.html . Be well, take care.

thank you for your response. I have 2 sativa dom and actually a short fat indica dom. when you do grow yours out shoot me a pm and let me know how it is, if you get a chance. Thanks for the link, i have read it befor though I was hoping to find a few people that may have grown her out that could tell me what pheno I should be looking for, for a keeper.

i got some lav goin...seems sat dominant...being roughly 3.5 ft tall, with almost no branches just big cola. i have a citralah on the otherhand which is very indy dom. shes a bush. lavender's genetics are very diverse, you got superskunk and big skunk korean with the afghani-hawaiian. so shes very diverse, and the pheno isnt stabilzed. i think soma likes the variation for his breeding. i know i would anyway. i love the way she looks personally...i grew two out, both were this pheno, except one was male. got one in seedling phase as well...
