Lavender smoke report

Found this at the Santa barbara Collective, in santa barbara california, $60 1/8th oz and $110 a quarter:

Initially this didnt have too much of a stone for me, then it slowly started to creep in, first with a semi strong hit of euphoria and raciness that is in the top of your head, then the indica starts to come on and put you into a daze/stupor. This one does take a few hits to get ya lifted up, but after three or so you should be good to go for about an hour or so.

Has a standard earthy taste with a little bit of a flowery fruity taste to it, the purple nugs had a much harsher taste than the green ones, though they seemed to pack the most punch. Strain makes things taste better as ya smoke it, the bowls will taste more and more fruity as you go on, enjoyable flavors.


This has a fun spicey sweet smell to it, with hints of fruit in the background. It smells like it has a little haze in it because of the spice, definatly smells and feels like a sativa when your breaking it up, but when you smoke it there is a good mix of indi and sat.

comment: fairly tight nugs, though they are very easy to break up, trimmed alright and has a lot of hairs still attached.

2. Visible Trichomes: 7
Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
comment: Medium sized heads on these trichomes, can see em with the bare eye but cant tell the color of em without a scope. They look to have most of their heads still attached so I doubt it was skuffed. good frost inside and out, tiny bit more on the inside.

comment: Easy to break up yet they are fairly tight, no real stickiness to the inside of the nug unless you get to some of the really dense pieces.

comment: Great fruity smell, but it isnt a sickyl sweet fruity smell, way more spicey than sweet. Has a slightly licorice undertone to it that is ever so faint, the spice really dominates this one but pairs up well with the fruitiness, very enjoyable smell, i can see why it is a favorite of many.

Comment: Tastes very smooth but doesnt have a whole lot of flavor, has a faint perfumy floral taste in the background, with a little bit of pepper or spice to it. The flavor of the hits varies a good bit, some are very heavy perfume flavor while others are much less. The purple ones taste way worse than the green ones, has a grassy hashy smell.

your description of the smell is right on and i have been trying to think of a way to describe it, ya hit the nail of the head. did you notice a faint skunky smell to it? this is one of the few strains that i dont feel comfortable driving while its in my car cause it smells so pungent, even after takin it out of the car it would stick around for half a day.
