Just received this evening.

The first phase of our efforts has been a complete success!
I am pleased to announce that we have already collected over 100,000 petitions since we started our drive less than a month ago. This allows us to submit the petition to the Florida Supreme Court for their review of the ballot language.
I want to give a huge “thank you!” to all of the volunteers and working petition gatherers who made this happen so quickly.
Now, we can focus our efforts on two tasks: Preparing for the Supreme Court review and building the massive volunteer army we will need to collect the remaining signatures.
Already, thousands of people have signed up as volunteers on our website. The response has been enormous.
If you haven't already, please sign up here to volunteer.
As we ramp up our volunteer effort, our main need is for people willing to gather petitions. We are expanding the number of volunteer coordinators and will hopefully have a solid presence throughout the state within weeks.
In the meantime, the petition is online (here) and the best way you can help is by regularly promoting that page to your friends and family via email and, if you have it, Facebook and Twitter.
Floridians deserve the right to medical marijuana if their doctors decide it is the right remedy for their debilitating illnesses. It is time for us to do what our legislature should have done - grant access to those who need it.
We’ve come a long way, in a short time – and we couldn’t have done it without you – but we’ve still got a long way to go. And we are going to need your help every step of the way.
100,000 down. 583,149 to go!
Please sign up as a volunteer here and/or pass this email to your friends and family.
Thank you as always for your support,
