I won some c-99s in the treasure hunt contest
started them a couple weeks ago and am putting them into
2ft deep holes with pro mix etc this weekend. anyone have exp.
starting late? i live mid atlantic u.s. east coast
for one, the average black plastic bag is not light proof, and why would he want to induce flowering now anyways? that is something you would do in spring to get two crops in a year.
well, anyways , yes i have started this late, you should be fine. you just wont yield nearly as much. starting a good yielding clone at the end of june usually gets me just a lb. from seed usually 10 to 14oz's (of course with full sun, and tons of light airy soil), not much but better than nothing.
though i can't say anything about c99 becuase i've never grown it. so yield and blooming time is going to be different.
though, with full sun, and good organic soil, you will do fine.
remenber to water them as often as possible. the heat of late summer can cook young plants with shallow roots. you will be fine you should just get smaller plants this could be good for stealth reason anyway. Baccas
cindy should do ok late , she is a very vigerous growing sativa and will do its best to makeup for lost ground , pretty fast flowering ... why not show us how you do with her ...
Hey,
Growing sime early skunk myself that I started late, first week in June which is about a month late for the south of England, got high hopes for them. Balcony grow so gets loads of light in the afternoon and evening. Will keep you posted.
Peas.
Piney,
Your NOT late @ all.If your mid atlantic then you should start in late march.Get yourself a Blums farmers almanac and you will be AMAZED at what you can learn from that book.Real cheap to .....Start your seeds in clear cups, plugs, pellets ect and get them growing good before putting them out.
Good luck..
