Late Start Outdoor Hempy-style Coco/Perlite Grow

Hi all

Decided to take a trip down coco lane and see what that's all about! I'll share my setup and hopefully get feedback from more experienced folks. If these things are still alive and kicking in a week, I'll make a journal ;).

:tiphat:

Got 4 OG Kush and 2 C99 clones 3 days ago. They're sitting outside in 1L coco hempies and will be for a week or so, and have been given ~ half strength PBP to start.

After which they will be put in 5 gal coco buckets and auto fed.

Realistically I'm only expecting 2-3 oz per plant tops at this point (maybe less). I think they will start flowering Mid-August, so we're only working with a 1-month outdoor veg time! Hope these coco buckets veg fast at least

My only concerns at this point are cal/mag issues and short veg time. Was thinking about adding some epsom salts, and perhaps even some milk?

Oops, so it looks like the pure blend is almost gone. Do have:

-fish emulsion
-molasses
-miracle gro nutes
-compost

Will any combination of those suffice for veg? Was thinking about doing maybe two parts fish emulsion to one part molasses and perhaps just a tiny pinch of MG, but am def open to suggestions.

Update

Babies given 3/4 strength Pure Blend Pro, 1 tbsp molasses, some extra calcium. Probably going to end up making some veg nutes soon, but not sure about the logistics of it yet.

Two of them are slightly wrinkled and drooping, think it's just because there was no real transition period when they were transplanted-- they were fed and put directly in the sun in the open air.

Most of them look happy, though. And there is already some new growth. I wish they would spend some more time working on those roots, though. Pics to come tomorrow.
