Late start Girl Scout cookies outdoor

So I'm not sure if this is going to work but I will give it a try anyway. I have a single seedling that sprouted a couple weeks ago in my veg tent under t5 lights. Soon after it came up I realized that I had bugs (root aphids I think) that must have migrated from my flowering girls. The sprout came up strong and fast and shed it's hull in a few hours. I have to clear out my indoor to eradicate the pest so I decided to put her outside. I don't have a very private yard but I do have outdoor gardens with plants that can provide some cover. I am at about 43 deg north so it's super late to start. I want to give full sun for a couple weeks then maybe shade it for an hour or two in the morning and evenings to force flower as early as possible. I need it to stay low so it doesn't outgrow it's cover. I'm not worried about yield so it can stay small. Just want to let this girl live and get some experience. I'm inking that keeping it in a small pot will keep it smaller. It will have to finish by late October since that is when we usually get frost.
Anyone think this will work?
Is it way too late to start?
Anyway to minimize stretch outdoor?

Any input or suggestions appreciated.

well lets see some pics, of course this works, ur plant will go imediatly into flower so it will only stretch and double its size maybe.

Thanks for responding moritzst. So there is a chance for her. I'm at the end of my first indoor grow so I'm new to this. I need the experience and since my indoor will be down for a while I might as well try this. I will take a couple pics after work tonight and get them posted.

Just looked at climate data and first frost more like mid October so she has less time than I thought. I could bring her in garage at night if we get early frost or maybe cover her with something to help keep her warm.

first/light frost isnt going to kill an established cannabis plant. Maybe in a tiny pot it would. I would put her in a ~10gallon or so container and let her finish. Putting it out so late is going to keep it short regardless of container size. The covering it for mornings and evenings in a few weeks is a great idea to ensure flowering starts sooner instead of later.

Thanks for the reply KONY. She is in a 6" pot right now but will give her a bit more space in about a week. I think I can dig out a hole for the pot to go in and then mulch over it to help it stay warm and also cut down on hight. Glad to here I am on the right track.

Shit. I get home and go to snap some pics and found something bad had happened. The pot was tipped over and all dirt spilled all over the ground. The baby plant was thrashed. Leaves ripped and stem broken in a couple spots. I was pissed. I have a lot of rabbits in my yard and I think they knocked it over and munched on it. I guess I should have put a cage around it. Live and learn.
I guess I'm having a run of bad luck. Root aphids are hurting my first ever indoor grow late in flower. They screwed up my second grow and I have waisted a pack of GSC seeds. And now my little outdoor adventure is over.
I'm not going to let it get me down. I have to keep trying and learning. As long as I learned something it was not a waste of time. Thanks for taking time to check out my grow and stay tuned, I'll be back and trying this again soon.
