Late 90s Strains from central Canada ?

I hope some of you can help me. I was getting into weed back in the late 90s and early 2000 in Manitoba Canada. Now that I can grow, I am looking for strain suggestions from this area and time to try and grow something nostalgic.

I didn't get strain names at the time just whatever was in the foil wrap lol. The only plant that stands out was one we called baby shit. Smelled like exactly baby shit and maybe Parmesan Cheese. It was in small light green buds about the size of a large marble.

I did smoke one bowl with a random dude and I swear I started to have hallucinations where people sounded like monkeys. Yeah no joke. Then I lost the persons number that night. I will forever search for this strain.

cool to see that emery catalog still intact.
Somewhere in storage I have 3 or 4 years worth of those catalogs and the first year editions of the magazine he produced around the same time.
With what I know about the guy now..... emery is and probably was always a shady clown but he does most certainly go down in history forever as the Prince of Pot.
The first seeds I ever paid for were from his vancouver shop in 1998 when a buddy dragged me down there to meet n greet this breeder steve guy...... was a cool afternoon and the seeds...... i wish i could go back in time LOL

It's amazing how certain strains can bring back memories and emotions. I hope someone in this community may have some suggestions for you. Have you tried reaching out to local grower communities or cannabis clubs? You never know, someone may have knowledge of those specific strains from that time and place. You can also check brantford dispensary page for such info. Hope it helps you. Good luck on your search!

Starting smoking in edmonton in the early 2000s. We really got bc commercial stuff and the occasional local strain.

Green apple was one, dont know the backgrounds

The kushes started getting big circa 2002

Occasionally got some lemon haze, that was really special

Never tried that strain called BabyShit, and don't even know what it came from. Just a couple of weeks ago i was wondering what happened to it, never hear about it, these days.

There was a really good White Rhino clone that was widely grown commercially that time that had what many describe as baby poop terps. That profile is common is stuff that came from Ortega lines which was one of the parents in White Rhino
