Last words and habits

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] We had a habit of always greeting each other with a call and response :
Her:" love my sweetie !"
Me : "love my sweetie !"
We would look at each other with smoldering eyes, and I would say" I love you with all of my heart ".
Then we would deal with our regular stuff

That was ALWAYS how we greeted each other and how we always parted also. Always [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The call and response started as a" little private thing", but it became very comforting and important to us each as time went by.

We got to where we were able to do that very quickly and discreetly,
It was a real pattern that we never never changed , with each and every call or meeting or contact .

As a result of that habit:

The words she uttered to me as she laid down that last time were :" love my sweetie!"

The last thing she heard was : "love my sweetie- with all my heart"

Thankful her last words were something quite endearing and positive. Saddened by your loss....and realize nothing will be the same. However, those treasured "love my sweetie !" and "I love you with all of my heart." will remain with you....always.

You were one of the truly fortunate couples. So many are not that positive nor encouraging.

things that good hurt bad when they end. i hope remembering her helps you smile through some of the tears

one day all those good memories will outweigh the pain even though that seems impossible right now. just keep on keeping onand you will be OK
