landraces from Ace and Seeds of Africa?

Anyone grown anything recently from Ace or*Seeds*of Africa? Im interested in knowing anything from*Seeds*of Africa and the Laos Luang Prabang, thai stick, Guatemala, or Mazar-i-sharif in particular from Ace. Any other seed banks you would recommend for a so called landrace...I know they don't really exist anymore.

Thanks

Mazar, Laos and Thai Stick were all seeds from GN Collection seedbank. Some can still be found online.

For imported untamed landraces (mostly from Himalayas and SE Asia) I would recommend Real Seed Co, but they need a lot of work and patience though. Breeder's Choice used to sell also Lao and Highland Thai from the same source, Colombian Black...

You have also Colombians, Ghana and Pakistan in Cannabiogen (there used to be also South African and Sinaloa mexican), Zambia and South African Ciskei in Tropical Seed Co, Swazi and Durban in Nguni Seeds (Afropips) and some others.

There is a thread on Seeds of Africa around the forum with mixed opinions. Good thing about landraces is their diversity and the fact they offer a brand new resource for genetics and traits for those looking to find original or different strains. Some interesting, some not. They just need some love and dedication in order to explore them and find good smoke to work with. And of course be preserved for the future generations.

Cheers.

steer clear of breeders choice "hothouse flowers", he's been stealing from customers. you would be better to try and find "sativafiend's" highland thia if you go that route.

Check out the Ace forum here. Couple of current grows of GN thai and Guatemalan. Also look into the Cannabiogen forum here, always something interesting. If you don't have time and space to sift through wild landraces, CBG, ACE worked selections would be my choice, less chances of hay and hermies.

Actually that's the same strain that Real Seed and Breeder's Choice were selling. He was the provider of the seeds to both of them.

I've also hear some bad things about BCO... web is not even working nowadays. Too much wolves out there using the name of the plant to rip people off .
