It kind of depends on the size of your room and your light but in general an air-cooled hood will out perform just a fan,at least in terms of heat dissapation.
I prefer the fan blowing over the top of the canopy. Helps the plants get stronger stems to handle the weight of the upcoming buds...reducing stretching during the first couple of weeks of 12/12, plus you really need to have the fan going to circulate the air in the room anyways. I have one fan cooling down two 400W lights blowing 8 feet across the canopy.
If you need to pull heat from ur grow room then use the Cool tube with exaust.I bought a Cool Tube with a Can fan exuast and it has reduced my room temps by about 4 degrees. Now my room temps r 78 d not 80-82.Works for me

If your useing co2 then cool tubs would be Optimal. Because have you tube connect to out only so the air going threw the tubs are always fresh cold and have the other side of the light going out. Have the heat leave the room.
So co2 wont be Screwd up by fans. or get sucked out of the room.
Hey Larry, what are those white marks on the leafs in ur 1st picture. Looks like a mildew, but it could be a water mark. What kind of water do you sray on them?
i spray them with purified water and super thrive once in a while ill throw in 1/4 reccomended dose of ff big grow, maybe its from the light was 2 ft away and temps were kinda hot which makes my problem that as well as a mg def i have but i added some epsom salt see what happens but the blower i am thinking of buying is not gonna be effective by hanging it at the top and ducting out the window, will this reduce my temps a lot how much?
