i dont think that calcium peroxide will do anything other then kill the life in the soil.
should have gotten sensical. looks totaly like a cal def. it could be a ph problem, but doubtful.

Yea, it looks like Ca def. I would still check the ph just to make sure and check under the leaves for signs of pests just to rule pests out but it is most likely a Ca def.

i just looked clooser and found that, I have freaking spider mites! So i looked this up..

Tabacco Juice recipe

Take 3 strong ciggeretes soak them over night in water
Boil it for 2 to 3 miniutes, let it cool off and spray the plants 3 to 4 times a week. You can add safer soap if you like to the mixture.
(make absolutly sure you use gloves/face protection while handling and spraying)

when they say use face and glove protection, is it really harmful for me? I will only be adding 3 smokes to the water. not the safer soap also.

EDIT :::: Im at day 35(about) is it safe to use this?

Hi nightcrawler, I have never had mites or used cigs on my plants so I can't comment on that. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you found the mites but you may still have a Ca def or a ph problem so you should still check them.

Any time I see the kind of damage seen in your picture I always start by checking for pests just because its so easy to do and does not cost anything and then check ph and if its not one of those its almost always a Ca def.

If it were me I would check the ph and kill the mites and if the new growth does not look healthy I would give them a shot of Cal-Mag.

this is my frist grow, and im so sad to see this happen. ive had this plant growing for over 8 months now...

BTW i got that Tabacco Juice recipe from "The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles!"

So it should be something i can trust i hope.

Nightcrawler, the picture you posted is not yours, right? It comes from the "Complete Guide to Sick Plants" thread posted as a sticky in the Cannabis Infirmary, as an example of Ca deficiency:

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688

Perhaps you posted that pic because you thought it looked like the same problem you have. The thing is, since the pic does not show your plant (with its ailment) it might not be the same thing, and we're all diagnosing and giving our opinions based on what we see.

See, IF your problem really is spider mites, then it has nothing to do with the problem in the picture.

I'll drop a hot potato and say that what the "Sick Plants" thread pic shows as Ca deficiency might not be Ca deficiency after all. The reason I say this is that I've had the same type of leaf spots on a couple of plants, but that using hard water (with more than enough Ca in it), and in low, mid and high range Ph, which would exclude the possibility of Ca lock-out. Also, sister clones of the same plant (grown side by side in exactly the same environment) did not develop the same symptomes. Logic therefore tells me that the problem cannot be as simple as Ca deficiency only.

It's something that needs figuring out....
