Kush goo...

Last night me and Mysta and another friend all made some goo.
I had a jar full of trim from my OG, Bubba and Kali Kush.
So we made two batches.
The second one with all the kief on the bottom of the jar was the better batch in my opinion.
As far as quality goes.
They are both top notch.I'm just letting all the butane evaporate before I smoke it up.

I'll report on the smoke tomorrow.
It smells like kush still. good stuff.
Looks better then any of the Goo I ever made.
But this is with better quality product ,thats why.
I mean a 1/4 of the jar was kief.
Thats why the smaller bowl has more yellow goo.
Because it is more concentrated, I think.

I have always been worried about the usage of chemicals and whatnot making oils and such...quite possibly Im just uneducated, but it just seems unnatural, and I am very cautious with what I put in my body.

Looks tasty. I haven't had hash in a long time, last time was some bubble that was dank as fuck. I never have enough good trim for it to be worth it. Some day though Jdog,lol.

When you let it sit for a few days before you smoke it.
It's fine.
It's definetly not something I can smoke alot of all the time.
I njust brake it out when i really need to get beyond toasted.
Or special occasions. If you smoke it all the time it can make your lungs real tired.
But if you let it evaporate right and for long enough.
It gets much better over time.
Butane evaporates at room temp.
It boils, it's crazy shit man. But worth having around.IMO.
I always have finger and scissor hash around.
I have bags but I kind of like the natural hash off the buds better.
Like rolled up kief. BUt I'm saving trim up for some water hash too.

Remember,THC breaks down rapidly..As soon as all the butane has evaped store it in the freezer...Thats the only thing that slows breakdown to a crawl...
If you notice oil gets less potent the longer you have it...There are many many studies on this..
Freeze that tastey shit!

Nice looking oil J. I love the gooey goodness. The stuff needs a warning for the weak though.

What kind of butane did you use? The more refined the better(probly knew that though). Also, like Bubbafisher stated, A warm water purge would have took the bute out way faster than letting it sit out. With the water purge, you can smoke it within minutes and the bubbling action is more intense. Enjoy .

Thanks for all the help guys.
I had my buddy come over and just show me how he does it.
So we'll try the water perge next time.
I think I used to do it that way back in the day when I made it with this crazy divice I made(very dangerous). I stopped making it because I started betting a little paranoid about blowing up one day. But thats because I made the device myself and didn't have it properly ventelated with in the device itself.
So all the pressure woul;d build up and if there was any spark. It would have been like a bomb.
So I got rid of those and stopped making it until my friends showed me some of his and how he makes it.
Seems a little dangerous of course.
But not as bad as I was doing it.
Next time I'll try the warm water.
It's been about 80 degrees everyday here.
So I figured that was warm enough.
I smoked some yesterday and it made me feel so damn high.
The best way to describe it is a way intensified THC pill.
Because after I smoked it I was on a cloud for a good hour or 3. Then I felt like I had taken a valium and it was nap time.
Woke up and smoked some more. I was F'ed up yesterday.
When I smoked the entire bowl of it earlier in the day, I was seriously messed up.
Tastes like your typical sweet hashy goo taste. Maybe a little better then most goo I've had. Smells sweet and hashy like Bubba smoke ,while in the air.

Here it is now all balled up and looking good.
The darker goo is what I had to scrape off the glass. So I think it's more condensed.
The more light colored goo is awesome. Crazy potent shit.Thats the stuff I was stirring up the bubbles out of from the start. The darker goo was from the flat glass thingy that had less yelowish tan goo and more conensed flat goo.
The high is like trip for a few hours, then sleep.
tastes like sweet hash ,similar to Bubba.

That goo is looking fantastic. I have a rule never to smoke chemically extracted resin...but for this yummy looking stuff I might make an exception :wink:

I hear ya, but this goo is the smoothest smoking goo I've made or had.
Maybe because I let it sit out for a good 5 days or so stirring it and giving it little warm water baths every once in a while to get the bubbles going.So I could stir em out.
The Bubbles are filled with gas. You could smell it leaving the goo as you stirr it up.
But after a few days the bubbles stop coming and the smell of gas goes away and becomes more of a sweet dank hashy smell.
Once I warmed it up and squished it around for a while it was pretty clean.
Believe me, I wouldn't be smoking it either if I didn't think it was safe.
Plus I have my tricks to make sure there is no butane left in it before I smoke it.
I stick it on the end of a nail or something metal and melt it onto the top of the bowl. By heating up the metal.
So while it's melting,any gas that remained(I would say 0 gas remains anyway) is burnt up. Butane evaporates fast and at room temp.
So after a good amount of time,if done right, it's gone.
