RIP Kongar-ol, way too young to go.

I bet a lot of folks have never heard of this guy, I hadn't until the documentary, "Genghis Blues," came out in 1999. He was downright incredible. If you consider yourself a music lover you owe it to yourself to check out that documentary. Throat singing sounds....weird....no other way to put it, but in a totally fantastic way. I think anybody who likes to catch a weed buzz will enjoy it. Well, hey, why don't I go find a youtube link or two...

Here is the promo vid for "Genghis Blues" (the movie is about 2 musicians, one a blind american musician, Paul Pena, who discovered throat singing by accident on his radio, and the main man in Tuvan throat singing, Kongar-ol Ondar):

RIP to both of them. It was a great film and definitely exposed me to something different musically. Sorry to hear that he passed away.
