Kiwi Seeds Oceans 12 smoke report by lvclosetgrower

Hello to all I will be doing a smoke report on the following kiwi seeds oceans 12. I will try to include all info so peeps can make a decision whether to buy/smoke or not. First off I did not grow this strain but did get to peep it, I aquired it through a secret med patient friend from reno nv. He informed me he ordered the pack online unfortunately he didnt use the bay/boo.
Plant grow start to finish= 4/5 rating *only because it takes awhile to flower
He runs a 600hps ocean forest in 5 gal buckets feed the FF trio bigbloom,tigerbloom,growbig. Germed from seed reg 10pk ended up w/ 6 F's only 4 made it to flower due to space. They were true to their sativa orgins and grew prolificly through veg tons of branchs very fast growth I noticed leaves were somewhat skinny & dark green somewhat reminded me of my bagseed grow,only veg a couple weeks then flipped for the long long flower 90+days if I remember correctly. Flower was slow but sure, I could see alot pistol production everyday after about 40 days of flower. They ended up getn 5+ft a skinny plant. Yield was decent the main cola was dense but some of the sides branchs were somewhat fluffy spaced apart. The harvest process was very leafy aswell. Believed they were jar cured for 3 1/2 week period then passed on.
Ok now that we know the orgins and growing method now on to the actual smoke report. I recieved 14g of oceans 12 the test will be conducted through a simple glass water pipe/bubbler.
Here are some of my first thoughts upon receiving my sample.=5/5 rating
>very trichy and orangish lite green at first glance
>skinny long buds covered in orange
>very candy like smelling hint of pine and foxy musk smell
>nice and dry almost brittle crunchy cured buds
>looks nice and fat through a ziplock
Here are my thoughts handling the buds loading up the bowl.=4/5 rating
>very orange in color
>very hard and crunchy
>breaks down kinda dusty
>few stems no seeds
>releases a very strong musk when breaking down
>very hashy
Here are my thoughts upon smoking the buds through the bubbler loaded a lil less than a one g =4/5 rating
>first hit upon taking the the thick smoke through my mouth its very smooth kinda tangy potent but pleasant
>upon holding the hit in my lungs it kinda burns like fire gives off a sweaty type feel tastes more piney slighty harsh
>upon exhale very pungent pleasant skunky taste fresh tasting hit powerfull kinda gave me tingles
>while smoking the bowl burned kinda fast not really lasting, stayed cherried/lit off 1st hit.
Here are my thoughts 3 min after finshing took about 6-8 fat bubler hits=.5/5 rating
>very plesant smoke I feel pretty medicated/tired somewhat drowsy lazy.
>It tasted very good almost had a unique one of a kind piney musky pungent smell and taste
>Its definatly got the sativa high to it and somewhat hazy but not really just tired felling
>cotton mouth is strong turns your mouth to the mojave desert in summer
>munchies also strong and when you eat ur still hungry
>makes you busy for 10 mins then couchlock
>made me sweaty and hot in the face
>its definatly some powerfull strong toxic smoke
>only bad thing was burned up to quick and broke down lil dusty
Here are some of my final thoughts =5/5 rating
>very nice unique strain
>med quality for sure
>long flower time
>hearty growth
>plesant smoke
>kinda makes ya tired
>gives you the haze feel if ya smoke all day
>definatly see the sativa and some skunk 2
>nice yield
>distinct orange color
>I do like it but will make ya lazy as hell
