about xmas time my son got a kitten
I already have a big German shepherd dog and was worried she may attack the kitten
well I'm glad to say they get on great together
molly the kitten is a bit rough on the dog sometimes but all she does is lick her
or use her big paws to hold her to stop molly attacking her

I watch my kitty play with my german sheppard and its funny cause the kitty does not know at anytime the sheppard could do away with him if he wated to! It always fun to see cats and dogs living in harmony. Makes me think its possible for humans to do it...

Thats cute man. My dog plays with my cats like that to. Shes a mutt that looks like a black lab. The dad was a springer spaniel haha. Mom a mutt.

i had a male kitten which i rescued after being abandoned by the river. He was very ferocious. He was so small but after a few weeks he already caught 2 mice. He loves our dog and i think he thinks he is a dog. he eats thd dog dry food and is very aloof. He terrorizes the other cats and is afraid of nothing. He likes hiding underneath the beadspread hanging off the bed and attacking anything that walks by. He is so independant and so smart. I have alot of scratches from him and you cant pet him without a bite or scatch. He constantly tries to sneak outside. i think he thinks he is a dog and is a constant companion with my austrailian cattle dog.

hmm but one day the kitty might make the dog snap and that wouldn't be pretty.

I guess they get along because the cat is much smaller than the dog, so the dog knows he is above the cat and that the cat can't do anything to him so he doesn't feel threatened by the cat so he has no need to fight with the cat.

The funniest thing is the kitten is constantly trying to get out and when he succeeds he is a pain in the ass to catch. Dakota my australian cattle dog is a herding dog so I open the door and dakota runs outside, finds charlie and herds him back inside.
