I didn't know you could use an extra fishing rod? Those little rangers like to float around with paddles and an outboard motor ready to go. Gotta be legit.

But is it worth it? doesn't the money go towards maintenance of the parks and stuff? we have to pay extra for a spare pole but there is no lake pass, parking pass you have to pay for unless you lose the one they give you. just buy your licenses and you can fish. they tried to make you pay to park at a state park but no one went. the only reason they made people pay was there was budget cuts because people didn't want to fund it. a few friends of mine had jobs as forest rangers and they got let go due to people not wanting to pay. only one person services all the county parks and we have several. the city parks are even more and there is only one to do that as well. vote for parks and rec!

I aint sure have to check the confusing regulations..i think you only buy second rod stamp for freshwater and I don't think you can have three rods,but I could be wrong...I do see a lot of Asians with like 4 rods so maybe you can buy one for each rod..
I don't barely ever fish with only one rod...when I fly fish maybe...
They stick me for 350 just to have a chance at a Colorado deer tag. I don't even want to mention a bull elk tag.
It seems kind of strange. Clearly the rod limit isn't based on fisheries science. Years ago in Michigan we could only have two rods but I think lately MI went to three rods per. Later when I was forced to move to the Dirty after living in MI I was amazed because you could have as many rod as you wanted basically. 
I do kind of resent having to pay the King tribute to molest "his" game and fish, although realistically I know that's how it works. I get a little pissed about boat registrations though. Went for many years with oars only because I wouldn't pay to use a motor. Built some pecs and delts
