Hi again to those who know me from my last post to the infirmary--I had a problem with overfeeding nutes (mainly N) in the late flowering phase. Currently (or so I think) I am suffering from a K def. I would take a Ph runoff reading but at this point I'm scared shitless to even add water so here goes.

SOIL:

How long has this problem been going on?1-2 weeks
What STRAIN are you growing? bagseed
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) seed
What is the age of your plants? 8th or 9th wk of flower
How Tall are the plants? <1ft
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? flower
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) neither
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 4"x4"
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) soil, no vermiculite (name unknown)
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* GH micro and flower, 1tsp ea. per gallon
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? na
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? I WISH I KNEW!! I think I have salt build-ups which is the cause of the lockout and therefore k- def.
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? I have gh solution test kit
How often are you watering? once each 4 days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? last feeding was 4 days ago
What size bulb are you using? using 2 150watt clf's (higher lumens for red spectrum)
What is the distance to the canopy? 6"
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) very low (see pics for some crystal shots)
What is the canopy temperature? 70-75
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)+/- 5 degrees
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) none...i know i know!
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?na
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? no
Is your water HARD or SOFT? hard
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? tap
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? no
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? no
Are plant's infected with pest's?no

Allright, so feast your eyes on the massive fuck up that is my life, and if you'd be so kind, offer suggestions (other than get new nutes..If I have to chop it early I guess I will, but for this late in the game I figure I have less than 2 weeks left to the chop) to aleviate the defficiency.

ex. flush with tap water adjusted to around what ph? 6.5 or higher??
or
buy buffers for soil etc...

plllllleeeeeease please please!

YIKES, I know...

With this many trichs white still at the top of the cola (see above) I'm wary of chopping it, but I definately need to stop the obvious decay of fan leaves or I might as well just take the plunge :\

Those aren't trichs, they are pistils. Trichs are the little shiny "bumps" that are around the flowers and on the fan leaves. It's important to know the difference.
I think I can help you, but first I will need to know both your runoff and tapwater pH. You have my permission to do a runoff test :)

Ive got 7.1~7.5 out of tap without letting it sit and evaporate chloronation
the runoff reading is ~6.5...

do what u do weedninja!

4"x4" pot-probably root bound causing the problems this far along
Test ph during next run however you can. I like to keep ph in soil between 6.3 to 6.5. Just my personal preference and soil ph is different from grower to grower in how they like to maintain it.
If you think salt build up is a problem, flush with plain water in the same ph range.
This late into flower baby it along until you can chop as long as you run into no problems that cause the buds to dry out or look crispy or other wise messed up.

It looks to me like an N burn. Your small pot is making it worse. Somehow I missed that when reading your original post(nice catch rr). I would flush with pH'd water to remove salts. At this point in flower, you should be flushing anyway (NO MORE NUTES).

I see you're a fellow sour soil man. That's right where I like it too.

ok ph'd water, reccomended level? I noticed u said u liked 6.3 so should I adjust to 6.8 if my runoff ph for current water is 0.5 less? Or should I shoot for 6.3 for the water itself??

Most growers like their soil pH at around 6.8, and that's what I'd recommend until you get a few grows under your belt. I would pH my tap water to 7 if I were you.
