I've seen mixed reports on the potency of Killing Fields in the forums. I've grown a few and thought the potency was lacking when first harvested. Now after a two or three months break I'm finding my Killing Fields just about as strong as any of my other top strains I've been growing. The quality of the high is great in providing a happy beaming state of mind. The duration of the high is solid but not as long as some of my other strains, I think. My new opinion is that it's a good strain but I probably won't grow again at least for a while because I have quite a bit stored from my previous grows.

I found a potent green/purple hybrid pheno. Most of the purple phenos are very purple. I found a very light purple colored one that was dipped in resin. Clear headed and uplifting all the way and trippy in high doseages. I'd bet there are better to be found as well. You will have to hunt a bit in these beans.

Sugar Punch is some bad ass top shelf weed though (definitely stronger, although not as clear headed as my strongest KF). That SSH is killer and I suspect Silverfields is stronger than the Killingfields as well.

KF was a massive yielder for me. SP a good yielder.

I have had a super purple, red wine smelling gal before and loved the flavor and stone. Have another 3 F2 ladies outside this summer and am hoping for a green pheno or two with a blisteringly strong high...

Update on Killing Fields

Update on Killing Fields

My brief report a few posts back needs to be updated. While at first I thought Killing Fields may not have the legs of some other strains I have such as Shackzilla, it turns out after a couple of weeks of dosing at about 0.3 grams in a piece of brownie that it has more legs. I'm going 6-7 hours before I feel I'm really coming down compared to about 5-6 hours for Shackzilla. I think the Jack from the same breeder has them both beat but it's been a while since I've cooked with Jack so I can't recall for certain.

i also ran killing fields and had a purple pheno. yours is beautiful.

purple haze might be the ideal mate for a purple kf pheno. purple haze in hybrids is often cited as increasing potency very significantly.
