keeping weed sticky

Everyting i seem to try drys my weed out over a short period of time(including jars), how do I keep it nice and sticky and fresh smelling? I need to be able to open it multiple times a day though to get weed out.

keep a small stash jar and a large stash jar. Pull out your smoke for the week and put it in the smaller jar. The you wont be exposing your whole stash to air all the time.

When I take buds from a curing jar, I blow some moist me-air back into the jar before closing it. Dont try this method if you're rockin' some halitosis though, could make for some TRUELY nasty weed! Hmmmm. maybe I'll start blowin minty fresh breath into a jar for experimental purposes!....and some Bazooka Joe breath for my BOGs etc.,...lol
...please excuse me for bein' so high.....LMAO!

I'm about to dry 4 large colas maybe 6-8 ounces total for 8 straight days. I won't be around to trim and store in jars until 12-29-07. I hope they won't dry out too much and will rehydrate when they finally get jarred. I've never properly grown and cured pot before. I hope this will be the 1st time.

when my big jar starts getting lower, i start putting a screw up ball of wax paper in the top...not so much that u have to squish the bud but just take up the empty space... then a sheet of wax paper over top of the jar before you scrw the top on/push it in if its a bung type

thats what I do, next best thing would be to get some of those vacuum jars that remove all the air.

yeah, i was gonna say vacuum seal it. if you've got a pretty large stash that's gonna take you a month or 2 to go thru, vacuum seal it up in 1/4 - 1/2 oz quantities.

why don't you just keep your stash in a box of bacon or something else in the fridge? lol do you think if you were being raided they'd really look through it all? i'm guessing they may open it and rummage around a little but not long enough to find a well concealed stash.

i think it depends on how the weed was initially cured... a good cure stays sticky much longer than a bad one... when drying just cut the entire plant down and don't remove the branches... hang it upside down untill the fan leaves are crispy dry... then break just enough to fit the buds lying down lengthwise in the bottoms of your standard brown paper bag... fill the bag a little less than half way and roll the top to close it... the weed should be stored for 2 weeks in a cool dark place before being trimmed but you don't have to be exact... after than jar it and it should stay sticky for a very long time... if you want you can always break it into smaller jars and just stash them even longer and only open one up at a time... that way you're not putting all your eggs in one basket so to speak.... keep it in a cool dark place that doesn't have major temperature fluctuations and you should be fine.

now if you don't know how the herb your getting is dried/cured than you really have no way of telling how long it'll stay proper so buy small and buy often ;)

i've tried everything... in the fridge... in the fridge with a small slice of orange peel... in jars... pill bottles... coffee cans... orange chronic smelly-proof bags... etc

jars are the best if you keep them out of light... if you have too much for a jar a turkey bag with the air sucked out ghetto style and then placed in a brown paper bag works well.

where and how it's stored can be more important than what it's stored in
