Keeping the flower room 100% full constantly

Sometimes the most obvious things get by me,thats why I do posts that seem pretty obvious to most,but it'll help the burnouts like myself lol.I knew from the start if I was going to do this,I wanted a steady constant supply so I'd know after a few grows if this was really worth it.It is,but thats another story hehe.This is an example of how I keep my flower room full constantly,its obvious like I said but may help some.My flower room holds 40 plants and I want to have 40 plants in there at all times.I'll simply harvest 20 plants when ready,and replace them with 20 vegged clones from the vegroom that are ready to flower.So on a 60 day strain,you'll be vegging your plants for 30 days.Its nice when you get this rolling it really maximizes the bottom line

That IS so damn obvious...why didnt i think of it then?....I've been trying to figure out how to run power to a second flower room from my box without losing power(extension cords) when i could just turn my one flower room into two. I feel like a dumbass...thanks skeletor.

do a search on SOG {sea of green } same same principals, after my current i'll be working my cab into a SOG 20/1gal grow bags placed in 5 @ a time spaced 2wks apart

right on 1 question are those 2gal pots round or square ??? i like 2gal grow bags i also use 4gal square plastic trash cans. i found more small squares fit into a big square then dose rounds . my grow bags i got at my local hydro shop cheap 35 cents each and reusable

Hello all,

I also like to have a 30 dya harvest myself. I have found it difficult to maintain the schedule and yield consistantly.

That is because I am growing from seed, had issues with heat and other thing grower related issues. So, getting replacements ready is the chore. Growing from seed has its drawbacks. I have to grow more then I need which is a waste. All plants do not grow at the same rate or vigor.

Its these things that make the perpetual harvest challenging. The keyt is to have enough yield to last between and beyond expected harvest dates.

Now thats what I need to work on myself is increased yields for more flexable harvest dates.

Good post..

My friend was telling me the other day I should do something like that.

His idea is to be able to harvest every month with only one flower room.

I have a 3k flower. He thinks I should fill up 2 lights worth of the room and start veggin new ones in the veg area about the same time. After a month he thinks I should fill in the other 1000 with the vegged clones and start flowering them.

This will be the time to start new ones in veg again too.

Then when the first group is done with their flower, the 2nd group will only have 1 month left. At this time you harvest the first group, spread the 2nd group out between 2 lights and move in your vegged clones again to fill in the 3rd light in the flowering room.

He thinks you'd pull more yield this way then just running the room 3k's worth every 2 month harvests. He says even if it's not more yield it should be the same and I'd be harvesting every month. Sounds more complicated to me tho. He hasn't yet convinced me.

I think that flowering the first half of flower under only 1k and then splitting them up between 2k for the 2nd half won't maximize them. I've found plants are usually close to their max height and width after 4 weeks flower.

Sorry for the hijack, but it's kinda similiar to what your suggesting. Yours is more str8 forward tho.

What do you think about staggering the room so you harvest every month?

alot quicker then from seed is clones and this is how i will be working for now 1 strain sugar shack my goal is 4-6 strains to bonsai mums from. 1 good yielding strain and the rest for tatse and high yield not important because once im rolling i will be harvesting every 2wks. 2wk time period is good because 1st set of plants in dont have enough time to over power the erea then you can properly stagger the grow erea, with oldest plants directly under the lighting newer to outside. when harvesting begins just like rotating stock on a store shelf lol. just move the older to under lighting to finish move next oldest to the new open spot so on so forth. this will be done untill a new erea is open on the end/outside of group, you can easy work a method like this into a smooth running factory like thing lol,

1 thing this works best with strains that finish at the same time or w/in few days 50-60 day strains for indicas or your sativa finishing time

Perpetual is the way to go if you never want to run out. Just replace a harvested plant with another and you will keep harvesting. Set it up right and you can harvest every month to every week if you wanted.

meduser....i have the same and need to do the same(3k into 2k flower/1k veg). And major...you suggested bio buckets on my other post but what about some GIANT grow bags??? I was thinking that a shitload of soil could give me results that are just as good as the dwc? skeletor...if your there i'd love your opinion if you could check out my thread 3k=3lb. sorry to butt into your thread bro. but i'd love the advice.

You guys are all too sensitive,I could care less if someone changes the subject in this thread,you dont have to walk on eggssells around me lol!Meduser 180056 it sounds like it would work except how are you going to veg and flower plants in the same room?The only way I can see it is to put the timer on an 18/6 schedule and remove the flowering plants to another dark room after 12 hours.Did I miss something?

So you think I could flower em with one light for first month and then spread em between the other two for the 2nd?
I'm thinking they get too big in a month of flower and they will overgrow the light or they won't be enough when I spread em out.

The 2 week stagger is cool, but I actually wouldn't want to harvest more than once a month. I hate trimming!

I wouldnt do that,you'd be depriving them of light they could be getting during the stretch period when they need food and light the most.That would be a personal decision though,try it and see if it works OK.Forgive me if I misunderstood you I've had a weird bad fuckin day I'm not thinking too good

Nah I don't think I'm gonna do it. First month of flower is when they get up to size. I don't c as much growing towards the 2nd half of flower. I don't think they'll fill in enough to cover both lights or they won't be developed enough cuz of lack of light.
