hi
have had a search around forums first but couldnt find anything useful
just wondering if ayone has any good ideas on how to keep humidity stable ?
im using a 1.2 m grow tent 400watt aerowing pro air cooled with an rvk 100ml extractor fan drawn through a carbon filter
in veg 18 on 6 off
temps around 75f lights on and 68f lights off
im having trouble keeping humidity above 38 % when light is on and obviously would like to have it around 60% while in veg
if i turn fan speed down temps go up to hihg turn fan speed up and humidity goes down
have left a tub of water in there but it didnt seem to make any difference

any ideas ???????
thanks

Why the interest in such a high level of humidity? I'd think 60% is when you'd start looking for a de-humidifier. Lower humidity leads to more compact growth and less chance of mold. Hardly bad things to have in an indoor garden. My humidity averages in the high 20s-low 30s. Often the gauge simply reads Lo, meaning less than 20%. Is this bad in some way?
