As anyone grown KC33 or KC36 by KC Brains? I have been given 1 pack of KC 36 (10 reg seeds) & 2 packs of KC33 (20 seeds) but i cant find much out about the stains. Any help would be great.

i hope youre planning on growing them outside! most of brains gear was bred for outdoors.the kc33 gets really big and smells lemony. the kc36 might be ok indoor, its a shorter plant with big buds but havent tried it indoors!!

KC33 is imho one of the best outdoor strains, heavily recommended.

I've grown both of them and still grow the KC 36, check out my albums if you want to see pics.

The KC 36 is great for indoor and even the prominent pheno of KC 33 can be ran indoors.

I only had one pheno of KC33 that I wouldn't recommend running indoors, its the thai pheno, it stretches through most of flower.

Yeah, i`m planning to grow both packs of the KC33 & half the pack of KC36 outside & the other half in.
The guy who sent me them told me also said the 33 has a lemony smell.
I think its madness the price some seeds are sold for, i think people overlook strains from cheaper seed banks sometimes because they think the higher the price of seeds the better the weed. Obviously this is BS, i have grown ICE, Northern Light x Shive & AK-48 from Nirvana seeds & they we`re all excellent smokes & their Bubblisious is amazing!

Cant wait for the spring time!

Cheers for all the help!

i`m running now : kc 36, mango and leda uno. 100% rate of germination , each pack of ten popped !

I started them on 20/4 , and now they are all at 2 meters high, some of them turned out to be real monsters.

I`m growing in guerilla style. It is my first grow.

Do not worry , the prices are low because he is an anti capitalist, but the quality is there !!

Make your bet, you wont lose !

I became a real fan of KC BRAINS work !

Grew KC-33 outdoors in the mid-90s and it reeked of mangoes--so sticky that I couldn't get it off my fingers! I'm about to try it indoors. My KC-33 phenos flowered very early outdoors and stayed small in smaller pots, so I'm hoping they'll do the same indoors.

Had KC36 outdoors (47°N) a couple of years ago.
6/6 germinated, had 4 females. Didn't yield a lot because it was guerilla, but had some pretty nice buds.
Kinda leafy but with a fantastic smell of candy/fruit.

I got some freebee KC33 x something (Master Kush maybe?) from the boo once. Grew HUGE colas, but tasted funky as hell. It was like 12 years ago, so my memory is kinda hazy...

Four years ago I tried both the KC-33 and K36 and they were healthy and yielded above average. Both 33 and 36 had less smell and taste overall. It wasn't bad, just very light fruit smells, and mild tastes as well. The AK47 that was being run at the same time was stronger smelling and it wasn't strong smelling either. I would also call the 33 and the 36 about the same strength wise, basically average to below average strength IMO. I'm used to running a lot of TGA gear and white Russian, Skunk #1, Northern light, C99 for reference and I would take them over k33 and k36 any day.

im wondering about the Kc33 outdoors in kentucky,usa..i have a mumid hot summer and sometimes rainy as hell end of aug thur sept..thats the worst time for botrytis to strike..is this strain very mold resistant? im gonna be foliar spraying with greencure & actinovate from the time they are 3 foot tall once ever 8-10 days for prevention bc mold almost wiped me out this year..i lost a few crops and only got a couple left delahaze is doing wonderful and i havent sprayed nothing on her..sometimes our fall is dry as hell its just hit or miss here..im at 38 lat north growing is sometimes growing is ideal(when it dry) then sometimes like this fall its been one the wetest in over 10 yrs..will kc 33 fully flower here if my conditions are like they are this year wet as hell..if it can do that then it would be great bc we prolly wont have another wet summer/fall like 2014 in 5 or 10 years and growing here then is like being in florida growing..if kc33 can handle the wet times when they are needed still get the job done?

well i bought the kc33 on the advice that silverback gave in one his threads if he said it was the best outdoor plant for guerillla growers then i beleive him over everone else..he was from same area as me although i never knew him till i found icmag..i read so many storys on kc gear since i been researching it..u hear of ppl saying i will take these other plants any day of the week over this, but the problem is im not in a legal state and i cannot grow in my home or property so i gotta do it the old fashion way..i bet u 99% of the time that pl saying they would rather grow this and that over kc33 isnt a guerilla grower as all guerilla know what a harsh enviroment that we must grow in..bottom line i would rather have some homegrown kc33 over the brown shit with stems and seeds in it that they sale here in in my area..i havent ever grew his gear yet just reading what silverback,Ds toker, moondawg and a few other guerillas have said and since they know and grow like me their word is alot more valid to me..most the ppl u see dowing his gear prolly never even tried it and just repeating what they read or so on another fourm..

I grew the KC33 this year. I had the fem seeds as opposed to the regs, and I'll say, they were resistant as a motherfucker. In fact, they were some armor-plated motherfuckers. Stretch like hell too and can really gobble down nutrients.

Now, I had to harvest a little early (9/26) and I'll say that I am mildly disappointed with the yield and quality of the smoke. That may very well be because I had to harvest early, my soil wasn't ideal and neither was my sunlight.

In comparison though the Green Poison I grew, harvested at the same time (though it was MUCH closer to being done) is some fucking dank. Looks like dank, smells like dank, and smokes so good it'll make you wanna slap your mama. No shit.

FWIW though, I'll be growing the KC33 again this coming season. It showed WAY too much potential not to give it another run in a more favorable location.

I'm also growing Mango and Spontanica by KC Brains this season.

I'd use kc-33or 36 outside as well, but would have other strains too. Other strains will survive like skunk 1 and northern lights hybrids. At least for me in the bootheel area of Missouri which is roughly a similar area. I'd like to cross kc=33 with c99 because it is an earlier finisher that did well for me outdoors.
