KA'U ORANGE INDICA

It is a landrace Hawaiian Indica.

Orange Pistols... Sweet orange smell too


Popcorn buds are most noticable on the 90% indica pheno.


Leafy buds are most noticable on the 70% indica pheno.


Can you spot the difference?



This strain is a keeper and a brand new plant to these islands, even though her parents are long time residents.


Easy to grow, easy to trim, easy to dry, great to smoke!

beautiful HG!.......my wife grew up in kailua-kona.............we were there for 2 weeks in 97'.............and will be back next july!........cant wait..................in 97' there were locals yelling "buds!" down by the waterfront............i had a bag of supposed puna budder within 15 minutes of leaving the airport!.............i wasnt as canna-schooled as i am now, as i wasnt supplying my own medicine yet back then............but i remember the bud as being no better than i could get back in eugene, oregon.............of course eugene is no slouch in the weed dept.............weve produced countless cultivars, not to mention djshort........... and we had soma as a local there for years.....but ive heard endlessly that there is no better place than hawaii for sheer taste and potency..........anyway, my hunt will continue next summer..............are you familiar with the big island?.......if so, any advice?...................................nf

Yeah dude, the flavour and the sweetness had to come from an old Ka'u gold sativa female.

The Indica was stock Hawaiian 90-day wonder-weed old school Afghan/Indica.....

But the breeding male came from one of the few orange citrus (as opposed to lemon (or the grail grapefruit) citrus) phenos, and the F2's produced these two keeper phenos.

My shitty dpi camera and pure logistics prevent the home viewer from truly appreciating the sweetness and fruity bouquet that make this so worthy.


I have no male f2's yet, but will breed out for one. The f3's will be crossed with an orange yielder from N. Cal for the only improvement needed.
