Kandy Kush Strain

I am currently growing kandy kush and am in the 2nd week of the veg stage. I have 6 - 5gals in soil (30% empire builder, 70%happy frog) under a 5 x 5 and a 600w mh which will be changed to 600w hps during flower. I am using co2 from a 20lb tank at 1000ppm.

Has anyone grown this specific strain in a similar environment as mine because man... i thought by now they would be taller but they are really bulky. They are approaching around 6"-7" and I am not sure if this is supposed to be where they are at bc they seem a bit squaty but not super sauaty like pk.

They look healthy overall, I am just worried about their height.

Thank you very much.

Did you start from seeds or clones? I have only grown kandy kush outside and my experience was that they did not seem to grow overly fast or slow. Most of this is kandy kush. I absolutly love this smoke, in fact I usually only smoke hash, but, I make an exception for this strain. It's some damn fine smoke.

I have only handled it in dried form. Very nice sized nuggets, great bag appeal. I was told ;)
That they were grown indoors in large pots harvesting over a pound per plant running AN. Commerical warehouse style.

It was seriously in need of a better flush. A better grower Too, IMHO

Hi Midnight, I started 3 from clones and 3 fem from seeds (forgot genetics company but it was something Privada) and the 3 clones were provided by Blue Sky Cafe. I think I will be fine based on your information about what you saw in terms of the growth. I keep hearing from everyone that this strain is a great smoke I cannot wait!

Hi Paladin, I have heard the same thing about the flowering time as well as very very thorough flushing with this particular strain. I have not seen a dried flower yet but I cannot wait! I am super duper excited to hear that AN was used because my base as well as some of additives are AN. During veg I run Sensi Grow A&B, Voodoo Juice, and a tad of B52 and a GH sweetener. During flower I use Connoisseur A&B, Voodoo Juice, B52, Snow Storm, Mega Bud by Rainworks, Floralicous Plus and a sweetener from GH forgot the name. I am a total noobie but do you think the food that I have is sufficient for Kandy in soil?

That would be Reserva Privada. I believe they're an offshoot of DNA, or a subsidiary? Seems to be DNA's ties with California breeders to give them a "legal" seed outlet. I've had their Kandy Kush before in Cali, and it was excellent, although heavily stupifying after a point.

In regards to your feeding, I've no experience myself, but from what I know about general gardening, you're going waaaay overboard. You should check the "Keep it Simple Stoner" KISS Method thread over in the Nutrients and Fertilizers forum. They seem to have simplified things.
