@thunderdrum - Thanks thunder, I was really hoping for more than one pheno, very happy with her though. She initially had that lemon og funk to her but in past week or so has really taken on a strawberries and cream type funk. Will have to see how she turns out, the smoke will tell the tale, but she is pretty and smells great now.

I really wish I had more phenos some great female/male ratio you had there. I was 1 female out of 4 lol hopefully the rest of my pack will have better numbers.

@RandomMan - thanks buddy she hasn't let me down yet hopefully she fattens up real nice!

@Gullygsg - Well so far she has been on pure water, haven't given any added nutes through watering, just a top dressing of worm castings. I am planning to give her a feeding with her next watering, so will she how she handles that. The soil she started in was pretty well loaded with everything she has needed, used Roots Greenfields, added castings. I usually use FFOF and this seems to be a littler stronger base. In fact when plants were transplanted into this soil it seemed like it was a little too hot for some of them. She wasn't effected by it and has been really tolerant all along. Just by judging her with some of the others being grown right now I would say she is probably a medium to heavy feeder, will find out with the next watering. Has been very easy to grow so far not finicky at all, transplanting, cold stress, topping nothing has stressed her out or slowed her down.

Sorry you were never able to sample her this has been my first run with her. People will get the karma they have coming to them for stealing your crop... just isn't right.

Update 8/10 - Day 70 - Flower Day 30

Goji Og #3

Had 2 Discoveries this week with the grow:

-First there is a PH issue with the tap water, this was causing issues with my seedlings and vegging plants, as well as starting to effect my flowering plants. The Goji has been showing little if any signs of stress, some of the other plants have been a little more sensitive to the PH. I have gone out and purchased a bunch of distilled water that will be used until I figure out what I want to do with my tap water thats measuring over a PH of 8.

-Second around 2 weeks ago I had mistakenly forgotten to close the vents at night in the flowering tent. This had light poisoned the room and popped up a couple of balls on a few of the plants. Well, thought that I had gotten all of them before any pollen was dropped. Apparently I had missed a couple of them cause I have some seeds forming on a few of the lower and bottom buds. I have not been able to find where the pollen came from but it looks as if all of the plants will have some seeds.

This is a bit of a nice surprise honestly, had initially wanted to collect pollen and make seeds this run. Ended up not having the space to keep the males and they were all culled. While this is not exactly what I had wanted, I will be able to get some seeds this run none the less. No clue if they will be any good but you never know, they could have some magic in them. They will be very welcome and as there are not a lot of them and the majority appear to all be on lower buds, this should not effect the quality or yield of the final product.

Man I really love this girl, she is really such an amazing plant.

The Goji was also staked up with bamboo today as she was flopping all over the place seems like she is really putting on some weight, lots of density in her buds.

picture.php

She just keeps on frosting and thickening up. She is such a beautiful plant, a pleasure to the eyes and all the senses. Each week she just keeps impressing me more and more. She isn't picky or finicky with anything, she is just a champ all around.

picture.php

Her looks have nothing on her smell, man she is pungent. So easy to pick out her stink over the 5 other plants in the tent with her. I hope that she is as potent as she is pungent and I will be in for a real treat. I love the massive changes in her terps from week to week leaves me wondering what she will finish like.

picture.php

For the longest time she was giving off a skunky lemon og funk, last week that had nearly vanished for a strawberry and creamish aroma. This week she has it all but that og funk has gotten a lot louder compared to the berry smell.

more updates coming next week.

hi kalyx, the plants are looking very good
i´m in the final fase with my goji, and the strong berry smell is reducing and now the kush smell is a little bit more evident. I´m really curious about this pheno curing, i don´t know what to expect.
watching man, best vibes

Hey pedrero,

Thanks you for the kind words.

I am right there with you on not knowing what to expect from this girl. her smells are constantly changing and evolving as her terps develop. One week she will be a strong skunky og funk, following week she will have a berries and cream that almost doesn't smell anything like weed. Right now she def has that combination of og fuck and creamy berries. Will be really interested to see how she finishes though, really hope both smell spectrums come through in flavor at the end.

Would love to hear how your phenos turn out, keep me posted.

Are you running a log?

Hope all is good and green for you and yours.

Hey kalyx,

Nice grow so far,
Shame about the high ph but I'm sure you have it sorted by now.

Thanks
GA

Hey GA,

Thanks man I appreciate it.

PH seems to be under control now, luckily didn't stress any of the flowering plants much outside of the runt Fuzz and she wasn't hurt to bad.

Some of my seedlings took the brunt of abuse from the PH issues but they are bouncing back nicely, thank you for your help!

Hope all is good and green for you and yours.

i´m trying to put this link in the signatures, but some of the site functions dont work for me, i think is because of the low post number. (forget it, worked now!)
i need to update it, i´m in the harvest window and pots levels are in the red alert :yoinks:

Update 8/25 - Day 85 - Flower Day 45

I like doing my updates every week but was unable to get one posted last week.
On account of being very sick and busy, logs and many other things got put off.
All that much better though the way I see it, a good amount of change every week but a huge amount of change over the past 2.
Time to get the show started enjoy!

Goji Og #3

I really love this girl, she has impressed me since day 1.
I really think she will be special.
Really fattening up so nice over the past 2 weeks, she is making some really dense frosted buds.
Her smell is the best part, developing into an amazing skunky, pinesol, og funk with undercurrents of berries, creme and menthol.
Can't wait for her to finish up.

picture.php

She is really putting on the weight and size, out of 6 total plants in the garden she has the largest size buds by a good amount.
She has very strong branches and stems on her, but can really see the weight she is putting on.
She has become quite floppy the past week, very happy she has been staked up.

picture.php

I love the colors thet she is displaying she really sticks out in the crowd.
With her fat and long fingers on her fan leafs that are deep dark green in color contrasting against the light pastel green colored buds.
She finally has some hairs starting to change color to a very light pastel tanish orange.
I enjoy her coloring quite a bit, she is very easy to pick out among my other plants.

picture.php

Starting to see some change of color in her fan leaves, some of them are starting to yellow.
She finally has some hairs changing color as well, still has at least 3 weeks remaining from the looks of things.
Really curious to she how much bigger and more dense she is going to get before chop day.
The Goji are supposed to be right around 63-70 days to finish up she looks to fit right into that window.

More updates coming next week.

@Gullygsg - Thanks for the kind words Gullysgsg!:tiphat:

@Gardening Angel - Thanks buddy I really like that picture too, has an odd glare from the HPS in the back but you can really see the sparkle in the crystals. I do need to invest in a quality camera but can get some pretty good pictures with this one. Not the best photos this week was under a time crunch but should have enough time to get a better shoot this weekend.

@RandomMan - Thanks buddy, those would be my favorite two pictures from this round as well. That first one has a glare but really shows that light pastel green color of her buds. Too bad smells can't transfer through pictures she really does have the funk.

@Greenlife1 - Thanks I really appreciate it, have been so happy with the Goji, I have been impressed since the get go. I would strongly recommend popping some beans. She is very vigorous, seems to be bothered or stressed by nothing. Has been a pleasure and very easy to grow, great structure and amazing smells. I don't think I have seen a negative grow of the Goji, lots of fire in those beans for sure. Keep me posted would love to see what you come out with when you pop some beans.
