This summer I want to give it a go with several longflowering pure sativa's.
Tried a lot from Ace already, but now want to try some more "wild" sativa landraces. I already got some African and Southeast Asian strains from TRSC.
I liked the Zamaldelica from ACE a lot, which incorperated a strain from Réunion island.
Now I came across "French thouch seeds" which offers two Réunion strains for reasonable prices. It's the "Kalite Tizane" and "Mangu Karot".
"K1 a.k.a. Kalité Tizane is a pure sativa landrace marijuana strain from the island of La Réunion located off the eastern coast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The Bourbon Breeders there have stabilised this special strain over a period of a decade or more with the result that hermaphroditism has been reduced to a rate below 5%."
"We are proud to present our Mangu Karot, a famous landrace strain from La Reunion (Zamal).
This 100% Sativa strain grows vigorous and slender, and needs around 100-130 days to complete its flowering. Yields are abundant, with lots of long and frosty buds.
Mangu Karot rewards the patience of the grower with awesome buds, long and completely covered with resin glands. The scent is exotic and unique, a subtle blend of mango and carrot notes. The effect is energizing and uplifting, suitable to improve mood and perform your daily activities."
Anyone know these strains? And are these legit?
I also like to know if Destroyer is still available (for fair prices)? Seems the Cannobiogen strain is discontinued?
I only came across a reproduction by Dutch Passion called "Desfrán" (Destroyer x Destroyer).
"Desfrán is a legendary South American variety that has won numerous cannabis cups. Desfrán is the result of a crossing of Destroyer with Destroyer, and was originally a three-way cross of Mexican Oaxaca, Colombian Punto Rojo and Meao Thai. Dutch Passion owes this variety to Alberto from Argentina, a master breeder and cannabis connoisseur and the owner of Haze magazine. With our first collaboration we wanted to introduce Desfrán in Europe."
I tried their Durban Poison in the past, but this seems to have a fair ammount of indica in it compared to Durbans from other breeders. So probably not as "pure" as promoted on their site.
Anyone tried their Desfrán and is this the same as the original?
