Kali Mist smoke report

Hello friends!
Kali Mist has long been on top of my wish list, and finally I have a chance to smoke it.
Kali was grown by a close friend, under 600W of artificial sun, in soil, using only organic fertilizers (Plagron).
The buds I have are from a mom that was put to flower, unfurtunately the exact flowering time is unknown.
The buds are quite of the popcorn structure, the sativa dominanance is obvious, so the triming process was quite time consuming.
There is a lot of resin on the buds, and if looked under a microscope, the trichomes are stil clear or cloudy (thanks to my friend, who respected my wish to have the buds with an clear,up-high).
After manicuring and drying, the buds were put into glass jars. This has been 2 weeks ago, so the curing proces is still far from finished.

The smoke is not especially strong tasting, there is some earthy aroma, with a little spicey taste that remains in the mouth for some time, especially at the end of the tongue.
The smoke causes lung expansion, the feeling is very strong and pleasant.
The high is at firs almost non detectable, at least when compared to a feeling caused by smoking heavy indica strains, which tend to produce the "heavy body" feeling immediately.
After a few tokes, you start to feel it It is a happy high, very social, great for conversation and party, or some day time activities. I never smoke before I have to work, so I really can't comment on that, but if you have a free day, this herb will make it even nicer for sure.
I have used it also before bed time, it relaxes the mind, and enables you to start the new day fresh, without the usual "indica hangover" as I call it(I used to wake up with a feeling that half of my brain was still missing )
In moderate amounts no paranoia or anxeity, above that, I will try during this weekend)

So all in in all, for me it is a top smoke, and for those who like to mix in some body feeling, I bet if it would go a little longer in flower, you would not leave dissapointed.

Oh, one more thing, I am really not an expert on taste and aroma, I find it quite difficult to describe that, so unfortunately the report is a little short in this section. But, it smokes NICE, no harsh feeling in the throat.

Kali is a great smoke. One of my favorite sativa highs(next to the racy trainwreck high). Looks like a fairly new Serious stock.

You chopped it very early , this plant needed atleast 4 weeks more to mature properly and would be at least 2x potent

Yep, you really need to wait til most trichs are amber for these sats. It doesn't lead to more body effects like indicas it leads to more potency.

Yes it came from Serious Seeds, the pack was bought in 2006. As far as the potency, it could go longer, but it is a matter of personal perference-I am a long time smoker, and a nice buzz is what I am looking for, not the strongest stuff, so that makes me a pussy I guess

If you don't want to get higher , with more potent buds , just smoke less , which is better for your health . You didn't only loose 2x potency but at least x2 yeild . Your buds look good though

glad you like the kali mist. i grew it this year outdoors as well. i ended up with 2 phenos - one more indica like buds in appearance and one with more airy sativa buds. i absolutely love the indica bud pheno! i have not really tried the airy sativa buds yet as they just went into jars. the smell is absolutely beautiful, very floral and perfumey. reminds me of the nightshade that i picked up once at a bay area club. i smoked in my walk in closet and for the next several hours it would have a incense perfume smell when i opened the door. nice, very nice indeed! the high is absolutely great, strong but heady. makes a great work weed, but you'll need eyedrops. kali mist is one of my all time favorites and i will be seeing her again.
