Kaiser's first grow!

OK, so I finally went ahead with building my grow closet/box.

So far I have encountered many problems. But before I mention them let me fill you in on some other details.

The closet is in setup in a garage that is literally falling apart. It is currently the monsoon season and the garage leaks pretty badly. We have elevated the closet/box and for the most part the box does not get wet. In addition to this the box is also covered with a tarp.

You may be able to tell from the pictures that lights are attached to a board that is movable vertically. There are also two fans located on this board act as exhaust fans.

I'm using bag seeds right now and some Misty seeds I purchased over the internet. RH in the box is usually about 80% , temperatures on the other hand sometimes get to almost 33c.

Everything was going fine, until a couple of days ago, when shit hit the proverbial fan.

One plant just withered and drop dead. The other had it's head missing i.e. the stem was still there but the leaves were missing.

After going over the situation there are a few possibilities that could be causing these problems, IMO. It's too hot and too humid. There is not enough ventilation. The lights are too close to the seedlings. The slits at at the bottom of the closet for ventilation are allowing insects to climb in.

I'm adding some pictures, let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Kaiser

First thing, GET THEM INTO SEPARATE POTS, bro they will be hindered with the roots clashing, get them all into individual containers and let them thrive, other than that looking good.

Just try to keep control over the enviromental elements inside the grow box as best you can and the plants will adapt to the grow space

Yeah I know I should have had them in separate pots but I figured they were too big to move now. Can I still move them now, is it worth it?? These are all bagseeds btw.

im not sure im still pretty new myself, how old are they? if you transplant when young enough i think it is ok, takes a few days for the plant to recover from the move but its better in the long run

ok seal up those slits in the bottom that are allowing insects in (also put some reppellant down there) and maybe set up a fan for ventillation, the fans wind and you allowing a bit of air in when you go to check on your grow should allow enough ventilation for your plants,

good luck man
