areukind - Did any of your Sugarberry Ladies Hermie? If not, how long ago did you get the seeds? I had two different females in 2 different spaces that both Hermied. None of the other strains (Sadhu, Krystallica, Bogglegum, Pandora's box, Point of No Return) had any problems at all. The good thing is that the one Sugarberry lady I've sampled is potent as hell; I got all sketchy in the grocery store a few times. The thought "oh fuck, everyone in here knows I'm high" went through my head and I laughed out loud more than once.
I'm re-running a cut now and I'm not going to feed them at all during flower to see if that makes a difference. Are your ladies fert sensitive?
the sugarberry i have dont seem to be fert sensitive but i also dont really push the limits and thinkin back on it, i didnt use any cal/mag supplements and i also didnt use a pk boost this run. in fact,
canna a+b
silicon
and molasses
are the only nutes i used on the sugarberries.
no hermies and the pack of seeds were bought about 3 years ago. hope this info helps.
nice show mate. You're doing a great work in your garden
Can I ask you how many W are you running to have that canopy?
Thank You very much for your reply! I only feed EWC and Guano Teas along with some Big Bloom, but I generally feed pretty lightly because with organics, less is generally better. I got my seeds in early 2009. It's probably a fluke as I haven't seen too many negative reviews with Joey's Stuff. I grew some of his Apollo out a couple of years ago and out of 5 beans popped I only got one female. She wasn't all that great (low yield, didn't seem to want to finish, not potent) but 1 female out of 5 seeds is definitely not enough to base a justified opinion on.
Have you grown out any of his other offerings? The quality of the smoke on the one lady I've sampled is enough to make me want to run her again. I bought these beans after reading silverback's posts as well although I didn't find it super fruity or super sweet. It's definitely lemony with a little sweetness, but The Third Dimension was more lemony and JillyBean was more fruity. It's only been in a jar for a week, so I'm hoping a proper cure will bring out the flavors.
By the way, you have a beautiful garden.
nice. i like the b'cauzz coco its what i been using for the last year. i have been wanting to try the canna. whats your ph. at?
Killer buds man! How long do you think they have left?
Great job!
