...To put under 12/12?

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for all I have learned here. I think I overloaded my pea brain with all the good info.

My question. I just transplanted my almost 3 foot tall Super Skunk female from a 1 gallon pot to I think it's a 5 gallon pot. How long should I let it veg? Should I cut the top foot off in an attempt to fim it or top it or something like that?

I used the following for the transplant watering. Miracle Gro transplanting fertilizer 1/2 strength, some molasses, some Liquid Karma, some General Hydroponics floro bloom, grow & hard water micro, Dr Hornsby Voodoo Juice and maybe some other item I can't remember.

It is under 250 watts MH and would go under 400 watts HPS in it's own room.

Thank You once again everyone. So much to learn.

I usually transplant, top or fim & lst, then let it keep vegging for another week or so to recover before I put them in 12/12. I use these methods & get pretty good results. If not one, I use all the above methods depending on the strain as far as topping, etc. goes. I usually end up doing it to all my plants, so I just keep on doing it like this.

why did you wait so long?

you don't need to take a foot off when topping unless you have distance to light restrictions. top the new growth, not a foot of it either! the 2 new leaves on the tip (apical meristem)

wouldn't it be great if you knew the difference between a 5 gallon container and not?

plants are ready to be flowered after four or five weeks veg. if you just transplanted, wait a week to let it recover and then flip.

start reading every article you can find interest in about cannabis and how it grows...every one has merit.

why did you wait so long?I'm not really sure? I want a big plant for lots of buds and yeild I guess is the main reason

wouldn't it be great if you knew the difference between a 5 gallon container and not? Yes the liquid versus dry potting mix is still throwing me off.

I will continue to read and hope I don't blow my mind, Bonsai Mums, Scrog, SOG, vertical gardens etc. I think I'm thinking way to much. Thanks for your help.:)

If that thing is 3' now, you're in for a mess. As in it will likely end up huge (6-7' if left untrained). Way to much plant for a 400.

You don't say how big your flower room is. That will have a lot to do with how you can train it to fill your space.

Search LST and SCRoG. Flip that bitch already and train through the stretch.

You have confirmed that it's a girl, right? Wouldn't that suck.

Good luck and stay safe.
