here's the pic. Originally i thought i was just pushing the Cindy a little too hard nute wise but it is happening to all of them now... maybe over fert? maybe heat? (i get a little over 90 but i use CO2)

Hi, hard to say really. With what you say it can be a combination of things, but the things I notice are solid purple leaf petioles and a slight yellowing developing to purpling on the leaves themself. The purple in the petiole would incline me to believe they are hungry for some P, cindy can be a P hog well can be a nute hog all around especially in flower.

Are these photos showing the problem occuring over time?

First the purple would show in the petiole then move to the leaf itself. I notice this in some of your photos. Either different plants or different stage of growth. They also look like their green is fading. Might I ask what you are feeding? I do not think you are in danger of overfeed, and rather I think they are hungry.

This could be due to the feed program itself or ph of the mix, I doubt the temps have an affect on those issues. Well actually they would, as with supplimenting c02 and using higher temps you are encouraging and supplying an environment in which the plants can metabolise at a much faster rate and use food quite quickly. They may want the same feed you are giving, but at a more frequent rate? Again hard to say without knowing more and tending the garden.

The temps are imo what is causing the leaf edges to curl up like that.

Hope this helps, its not a solid answer just some observations.

edit to ask, what is your medium? root temp?

hey Man thanks for the words.

the pictures are not over time they were all taken the same day about a week ago. The last one is not a Cindy, thats a Bubba. My fault actually, i mean to post all one strain, but as you can see the Bubba is getting it too. Although less pronounced.

a diagnosis is always a little harder to get when i dont provide all the info i guess. Thank you for carefully considering my situation and helping out. K+.

here is a little more info:

Medium 2.5 gal Soil mix with perlite
Feeding Lucas formula (Micro 8ml / Bloom 16 ml GH nutes)
RO water
Cal / Mag added @ 5ml / gallon
CO2 1500 - 1750 PPM
Temps Max 91 / Min 71 (Night)
PH Nutes in 6.2 - 6.5
PH Run-off 6.5 - 6.6

I have not flushed yet, I go by what my plants tell me and with the CO2 they have been saying 'Feed me, Feed me.' I tried to get the premature yellowing to stop with 2 added doses of MaxiCrop liquid Seaweed at 1/2 strength. Still a ton of yellowing for 3 - 4 weeks flower.

i know.. its a bit weird that i use basically a hydro nutes schedule in a soil medium. I have done this for many grows now and always had excellent results. I always flush hard the last two weeks of flower and my bud tastes and burns smooth

Anything else anyone can offer is appreciated. Like i said earlier, these things are still running 6 minute miles so i'm not too worried. I am going to water tomorrow with straight RO. Then back to the feed schedule. Maybe a little lighter, not sure yet.

I am tending to think it is the Heat.. or maybe the temperature contrast...

Good to know that Cindy is a nute hog tho. I have never run her before.

Good Looks.

Look at this site, it has some that look like it could be.
http://www.marijuana-seeds.net/Thanks-ThankYou.htm

thanks! i learned a lot. never seen that link before.

i think its 1, heat (come on winter)

and a combo or Under feeding N and using too much cal mag which locks out other stuff.

I am going to water hard with straight RO. I usually be a flush before now anyway.

the heat thing, well i have been trying to solve that for a while but thats problem doesnt want to go away. I even bought a new 6" vortex to exhaust my light.

thanks bro.

i say heat... better watch out cuz too much heat over time = nute def.. plant wont be able to uptake correctly

thats sort of one thing i cannot control. i am out of ideas on that one.

my latest was to have the heat work for me by adding CO2, but i have trouble staying at 85.

the only other option i see is running the room totally sealed and adding A/C. but my electrical is maxed out.

if my leaf tips are all that paying the price i'll deal. thanks all.

if you want to see these ladies progress through 4 weeks flower its in my link.

In my younger days I would always play 'Just the tip' with girls.

We'd me making out and id try to have sex with them. They would say no and I would ask if I could stick in 'just the tip' to know what it felt like.

Surprisingly, it worked a lot.
