Hey, I took a clone from its mother (lemon skunk) and it finally showed a root (first clone success!)last night so I took its humidity dome off and this morning the fan leaves are curling and brown, its just not good looking. I had someone say it may be heat stress the clone was under a 26w 6500k cfl at about 4-5 in away. I could put it under indirect sun in a cooler room but I had another person say thats a bad idea to give it sun as its too young. What do you think?:joint:

1 root showing doesn't mean the plant is good to go. I like to wait until roots show up all along the side of the peat puck before throwing it in veg. Once I throw it in veg I put the clone in a bigger pot as well, or at least a 16 ounce cup.

Get it in your soil and water, Some times when clones come out from under the dome
(high RH) they'll shock like that.

Next time prop the lid open a little for a few day's.

Peace INH

I would take the dome off and fan for a few min then replace the dome in about a hour on most days so I wouldnt think it was shock.. but im not sure

Taking the dome off for a few min. each day wouldn't get it used to the lower humidity
out of the dome, slowly lowering the humidity each day is what you would want to do
Just for 3 maybe 4 days works great,
