It'll work and it'll fit in a normal medium socket, but it's WAY overpriced for the amount of light that it'll put off.

Ummm...I believe you're thinking of the much lower wattage CFLs that put out an equivalent of 120w of incandescent light - which are usually around 23w.

Personally, I'd never flower with any CFL since HPS and MH lights are MUCH more effective and are usually cheaper in the long run...not to mention the penetration that they provide vs. CFLs.

Nah, they're either 100 or 120w, $15-$20, and they're huge, like the size of gavita bulbs, definately not on of those little ones that are 23w or 46w.

Anyway, yeah, fuck flouros, I agree with you on that one. Maybe useful for supplemental lighting though.
