So guys my tap is EXACTLY @875 PPM

looks like its too high and worthless for growing right?
maybe dangerous for drinking too?

so is 875 high?

(meter was calibrated after delivery and tested)

anyway found this uS/cm to ppm calculator:

and 1600 uS/cm is around 875 ppm

so
its bad no doubt that this was behind last round disaster among other things..
anyway

coz of this:

it looks like its beyond toxic too much salty or smtng
maybe will mix it down a littel by adding distiled water which is @20 uS/cm so around 10 ppm
damn meter wont show ppm

so littel update again
due to current few fups was loosing lots of seedlings /it was primary temps going up to 37C together with this crazy tap and ph offs.
today started some NLxbigbud and HolygrailKush the right way

got brand new ph pen too so
ph to 5.5
jiffy
and distilled water ofc!!!

today measured the distilled used @11uS Around 5-6 ppm so its good and the ph is damn right @5.5 previously 5.3 ehm but one malawi is making it above ground lost critical 2.0 bunch of acapulcos in fact all of them seedling made it above ground but remained stunted no change after 5days exept drying out and yellowing this was with tap lost also some others two weeks behind schedule now ffs

but im not mad
it got me off this lazyness atleast intresting tendency to whatever..

IMO your meter is out to lunch TMU max is around 500 ppm in regulated area's gov standard..
Unless your living in Ethiopia or some place like that in my area its 380 ppm..

Mind you the minerals are to large for the plant to absorb , Myth busted ,,
If it were true then you would not need any nutrients the water would have enough calcium at least right ????
And i guarntee you if you do not supliment Calmag your plants will show def very Fast

its brand new&calibrated so nope
its also well water and got some floods few years ago from then water is like this.

I can only dilute with distilled or buy RO or something really thinking bout that.. but for now will continue with this but not for seedlings only for "normal feeding mature enough plants and watch those ppms / uS &ph close".

Are you softening your well water? That's not so good either.

I went thru same thing.
I use R/O filter on raw Well water and its made big difference.
Consistent quality water problem solved.

I agree, stop drinking that water. It would be a good idea to have it tested to see if the well has become contaminated. In the meantime bottled water will suffice until you get yourself an RO system.
