Just aquired ECSD cut and wondering...

I just got a tray of cuts that are ecsd from the same source I got my purple kush from, but I am a little worried. The cuttings were taken from a mother that was two weeks into bud, may be three. One has rooted so far, but I am wondering what effect it will have on the cut. I will be growing them almost tree size, so should they be okay? Also, I want to keep all my cuts indefinitely, so will it be okay to clone and not have any negative effect on future generations?

Any help would be appreciated as I have wanted this cut since I first came to this forum. I think I know the answer, I just want to make sure. Thank!

hi TGT

i am sure you allready know ... but here it is:

they will root slowly - doubles the rooting time
in the end of rooting they will yellow up - lil dose of N will help to keep em going
they will start reveging and some mutation will come up
after reveg they will grow just like the normal mother plant ;)

you just lose some more time.

cut off the flowers leave the leaves. 24 hours of blue light. that will keep it from herming up when you go flower her, and help speed the process to veg back up. high Nitrogen after solid rooting will be good too.

Thank you Chrome and Hash Zeppelin for the quick response! I want to keep her in my collection permanently, so I needed an experts opinion on the matter - and got two!

I am probably one of the last on the forum's to find this cut, but at least this comes from a very reliable source - so I know it's the 'real deal', well, at least 95% lol. I have supposedly had this cut twice before, but it never looked true, so I kept up the search. Unbelievably, I find it very difficult to acquire in the Toronto area. It must be just outside my social circle. Not a lot of problems with others thankfully.

I will try a small amount of nitrogen when they are starting to root. Thanks for the idea, it should help them out from loosing too much green before potting. The benefit of a cool blue light I never really thought about, but will try it - sounds like a good idea. It was nice to find one rooted so they all should be on their way very soon.

I'll post some pic's when something exciting happens lol. Thanks again!
