July 4th in Denver?

Just looking for some 420 friendly events to go to for the week of the 4th, will be my first time in the mile high city. Are there marijuana friendly bars/clubs for out of staters?


Also, is it really as easy to score as it's made out to be?

I haven't heard of any special events around but if you like mountains and hiking you are good. Recreational shops start selling in 2014 and until then the dispensaries are open for residents with an MMJ card. Denver, Boulder, and ski areas are full of very friendly people that will get you fixed up. Unfortunately the ski areas are slow unless you are into Mountain Bikeing. I grow my own and also go to my favorite MMJ dispensary so I don't know about the scoring part. Just ask the cab driver, bartender, hotel front desk person and etc. and I am sure you can get fixed up. Everything is more relaxed now after weed has been legalized. Funny as it is legal but one can't buy it yet unless you are a resident with a MMJ card.

I have never had any problems "scoring" anything anywhere.

Just remember that making weed legal did not take away the asshole factor! There will always be someone out there looking to fuck people who don't deserve it, so watch your back. Some rules never change
