Juicy Fruit

Quick question for you all. I've been searching for some seeds of Juicy Fruit (is this different that Fruity Juice?). Has anyone had any luck with this strain? I use to see it all the time on Phish tour, but it seems to be gone! I would love to add this one to my personal garden!

Thank you,

We used to get something locally called Juicy Fruit, a really tasty stinky bit with a strong high. I always assumed it was just Fruity Juice but with the name switched around cos it's easier to remember.

i believe the real Juicy Fruits a thai hybrid, ill do a search for it, or maybe someone will chime in. GREAT commerical bud, always a bit on the pricey side, but worth the money everytime.

i bought 2 bags of that while in cali. The guy didn't call it by any name, but when you smoked/smelt it. It was such a strong smell, like the first smell when you first open a package of juicy fruit. phuck, i used to love that gum..

Juicy Fruit is amazing. It's actual lineage is mysterious but it is a Thai hybrid of some sort. Heady, heady weed. And absolutely delicious. It's kind of become a forgotten strain since it's been around for some time and there's so much hype over the "Kushes" and Deisels and what ever the kids are into these days.

Sensi had to change the name to "Fruity Juice" because they register their strain names, like trade marks, and obviously "Juicy Fruit" was already taken.

I used to get Juicy Fruit in Miami. I was pretty sure it was clone only, at least at this point. Not really sure where it came from either. I loved it.

I'd trade some NYCD to my friend for the Juicy Fruit. Always nice to have something different.

British Columbia Seed Company sals Juicy fruit as well, the description says it's a trueBreeding strain......I think they sell for 90$ ???? Havn't tried it, but It's cheeper then the other companies mentioned, they also have a really good NL#5 that supposed to be from old sensi Stock.

I beleive Juicy Fruit was a Sensiseeds strain and the name changed to Fruity Juice because of Wrigleys or whoever does or did the Chewing gum of same name, happened when Sensi went more legit or Whateva......I grew loads of it years back and always thought it was Thai and Northern lights of some description. Can't remember what catalogue said now but seemed to be along those lines to me anyhoo. That is where the juicy fruit that I use to get came from as well. I really would love to have a cut of it :joint:

Is the Juicy fruit cutting related to SS's Fruity Juice? Smoked some stuff called Juicy Fruit earlier this year, it was very pleasant smoke all around and smelled exactly like bubblegum/juicy fruit gum.
Only found one hybrid that uses JF in it....Cash Crop Kens Kish x JF, can any one point me in direction of any others?

The old highland thai had this pheno and is the origin of the juicy fruit name, I believe, in regards to smoke. Sensi Seeds crossed one of these to an Indica to create their Fruit Juice formerly Juicy fruit, and is probably what your referring to.

DJ Short also used the original juicy fruit thai in some of his crosses.

I bought a gram of some Juicy Fruit at my local dispensary....

it seemed sativa dominant. The quality was not good at all, it was low grade. The gram I bought smoke nice for the price and the look of it.

I got lucky and found 2 seeds. 1 germed but died during transplant. I know this strain has great potential and it saddened that my seedling died.

next time

gotta love Google for resurrecting all these old threads...i have a pheno of c99, my stinkiest, stickiest one, high is so racey you can easily end up panicking in a corner after realizing you are tripping way too hard! my favorite part though is the INTENSE juicy fruit bubble gum flavor it has! ive been calling it juicy fruit for a while now, didn't realize there was a real strain named that...

I was probably smoking on a pheno of fruity juice then. The nugs were dense, rounded and well manicured. Looked nothing like a sativa in bud struxture. Thanks

Ceres seeds still puts out the juicy fruit line that won the HTC cup in the early 2000. I pick up a couple packs last year while in the Dam. Havent cracked any yet.
